  1. The strongest connection between Vardy and Charlotte FC is Steve Walsh..
  2. Couldn’t agree more, he explained it very well and how the people at the top now (I.e. Rudkin) haven’t got it in them to replicate and bring an organised structure back. We had a structure built by Pearson et al under the laissez faire approach from Vichai but sadly that structure and the good staff that worked within it have slowly been picked off and left. It’s been a slow downward spiral the day we let Pearson and Steve Walsh go and sadly the passing of Vichai. We all know it isn’t working and that things need to be changed with a structural style to a similar style as before but who is putting that in Top’s head - certainly isn’t Rudkin.
  3. Exactly the people running the club don’t have the first clue and Cooper was never the answer whether you think he’s a better option or not these appointments are just where we are at the moment, a downward spiral with incompetent leaders.
  4. Walsh jumped into a basket case and had his wings clipped , found it difficult to make an impact with Koeman’s ego, he wanted to bring in players like Haaland and Andy Robertson - they’ve both not done too bad. He did manage to bring in Lookman a player we all know too well. We wouldn’t go wrong with bringing people back who understood the data driven system we used have at the centre of every decision we made. And clear competent negotiators that understand that market is a big must.
  5. He’s created most chances and big chances. And that’s when he hasn’t played consistently for months.
  6. Hamza is the exact example of a player the club offered ridiculous terms to without seeing any results on the pitch - plenty off it though. Monga looks the real deal is my point, laying out huge contracts to the likes of Hamza and Vesty is bordering on szhitzo when we're likely offering small terms to good youngsters who'll be assets to the bigger clubs and NO clear path to the team. The club in this regard must do better.
  7. Wonder why we offer stupid wages to proper shite and won’t push the boat out for a top class youth prospect.
  8. Zero chance we ever see him play for the senior team.
  9. Like Facundo he’ll go on and half a superb career. He definitely has that magic touch and aura. Just hope this shambles hasn’t dampened his confidence.
  10. https://www.thetimes.com/sport/football/article/kevin-thelwell-everton-director-of-football-wgn5s6mn0 First West Ham and now Everton, another ‘lower’ half rival who is restructuring ahead of the summer with the DOF stepping down. Looks like those team are getting their house in order.
  11. While I do agree with this, it’s all true. You’d think that two consecutive managers would have realised quickly that Vardy needs more pace and tenacity near to him to provide chances that’ll he’ll still be bang on likely to take. And yet Cooper didn’t fancy Mavididi and Fatawu at the same time. And Ruud is more keen on the pace of two slow wingers. So an ageing Vardy up front on his own is clearly not going to work. Better managers and better recruitment would have eeked out the best still left in him but we got Skipp and Edouard. It’s not Vardys fault he surrounded by incompetent slow team mates, clueless managers, led by donkeys on the board.
  12. They chose the corporate ‘fan’ at the clubs height of success, like the fair weather ones that filled the stadium at the Everton match to the detriment of actual members. Success built on the shoulders and work of others now long since gone. Now the wheels have fallen off they’ve managed to alienate thousands of long suffering but loyal fans (£25 for physical ST etc) who now themselves feel distanced from their beloved team. By the looks of it lots are considering cancelling their season ticket. And the fans of the future will definitely be harder to attract, even with ticket price freezes. We need more than just platitudes.
  13. One thing likely to happen, the only assets will be gone and we’ll likely struggle to sell the dross and have limited budget scope for investment. It’ll then be entrusted with Rudkin and his band of merry men to think outside the box to get the squad competitive to stay in the championship. While I think we’d have heard about EFL wanting to **** us without lube by now it’s going to get much worse for this club before it gets better regardless of the EFL . It appears our youth players mostly without good experience of loans are what we may even need to rely on to play alongside Bobby Reid and Ayew next year. I’d rather the club not blow money on anyone to get straight back up, they can’t be trusted.
  14. Yearning for Cooper is fcking weird isn’t it.
  15. I’m not sure I trust the club. The options of good managers listed in this thread I assume won’t be on any list held by a poorly advised Top. And the organisational changes required from top to bottom to ensure we have a structure at all levels playing and non playing just won’t happen. If the club had plans to do that they’d be making those changes now (not sacking Ruud just yet) and not half way through pre season. They may eventually be forced to think outside the box when we struggle in the championship. A change in manager is one thing.
  16. Roundly booed and deemed not good enough by fans. A squad not fit for purpose in the premier league which isn’t their fault.
  17. The both shouldn’t be on the pitch. Or at the club for that matter.
  18. This is where we’re at Ayew and Bobby Reid as the undroppable starters of a slow turgid strike force. The same formation, we’ll concede and struggle to score. Another loss. It’s just rinse and repeat.
  19. And after all of that Bacundo is still - The 2nd highest scorer (joint with Ayew) - The 2nd highest assister (joint with Ayew) - 3rd for XA - Joint 2nd for XG - Top for both number of chance created and big chances created! And 3rd highest for tackles per 90. His stats speak for themselves.
  20. You love a sausage, no euphemism intended.
  21. Why you’d think you take Evan’s and Edouard as they might be needed if Daka gets injured.
  22. Neither are we.
  23. Which is probably what we should be doing too.
