Pompey red card

Obviously not related to our club finances and the PSR thread is closed, but surely this relates and stinks to high heaven?
-
Are we likely to have issues with players being back in time from the international break for Friday’s game?

Big opportunity to pull away with that Oxford draw. Hope we take it!

Goal Saints!

Ok, but it still suggests that Leicester believe they are compliant for Y25 based on the 36 month commission ruling, which surely would have been checked for accuracy from a legal point if view before being published?

Reply from Kieran.

Ah, so I see. Can't understand why we would categorically state that the panel had confirmed complicance for Y25 if this wasn't the case. We appreciate the Commission’s agreement with the Club’s position that compliance for FY24 should be assessed over a 36-month period – an important point both for the period in question, but also in providing the Club with certainty on its PSR/P&S compliance for FY25. Surely the statement would have been reviewed by legal experts for accuracy?

It states “All 20 Premier League clubs have avoided breaches of PSR for last season”. I admit the wording is ambiguous, but I don’t think it categorically means all current premier league teams.
-
Confirmed no breach for 24/25. Confirms the club statement for compliance for Y25 as part of the points deduction press release, which the majority seemed to miss.

Another Dean Smith, but obviously we had no other choice. Good luck Gary, our very existence most likely rests in your hands.

Final score 2-3.

Come on people, this was a joke!

In before the ‘I’d take Sean Dyche’ posts…

Pure speculation, but if it’s Martin they are after maybe he doesn’t want to take charge until after the two Saints games.

If it wasn’t Leicester, I’d agree with you. We are so broken as a club I don’t see it working out for him. Parts of the fan base will never be able to get over the fact that he taught a proportion of the fanbase PE. He’s 43 and has his whole career ahead of him. I’d say if he gets Lincoln promoted to the second tier, for the first time since 1961, his career will be in a much better place to get a top job at one of those clubs, when they become available, than running the risk of being relegated with us. Good luck to him if he genuinely wants it. If it happened it would be an amazing story as he genuinely would be one of our own.
-
As someone who grew up with him, if I got the opportunity to speak to him again I’d tell him to stay the hell away, keep on doing his thing at Lincoln and get that promotion under his belt, then reassess in the summer. In the condition the club is in now it would severely damage his career if comes now. We are on the way down and anyone associated with the club will be dragged through the mud with us, he doesn’t want that on his CV. Stay at Lincoln and become a legend there first before you consider anything else.

Specifically says in the club statement we are fine for Y25, does it not? We appreciate the Commission’s agreement with the Club’s position that compliance for FY24 should be assessed over a 36-month period – an important point both for the period in question, but also in providing the Club with certainty on its PSR/P&S compliance for FY25.

Does the mention of Y25 when 23/24 was what the charge was for mean we are fine for 24/25?

Anyone posted the LCFC statement yet? In late 2025, an Independent Commission heard a case brought by the Premier League against Leicester City Football Club for alleged breaches of profitability and sustainability rules for the three-year period ending June 2024. The action was brought by the Premier League after an initial investigation was passed on by the EFL, as the Club was competing in the EFL Championship during the applicable season and promoted upon its conclusion. The Commission’s decision can be found . The Club has responded with the following statement: STATEMENT It is with disappointment that Leicester City acknowledges the Independent Commission’s decision and the Club will use the time available to consider its next steps. While the Commission’s findings significantly reduced the unprecedented scale of the sanction originally sought by the Premier League, the recommendation remains disproportionate and does not adequately reflect the mitigating factors presented, the importance of which cannot be overstated given the potential impact on our sporting ambitions this season. We appreciate the Commission’s agreement with the Club’s position that compliance for FY24 should be assessed over a 36-month period – an important point both for the period in question, but also in providing the Club with certainty on its PSR/P&S compliance for FY25. The panel also agreed there were no aggravating factors which should be applied to the sanction, which is something the Club had maintained throughout, and acknowledged the Club demonstrated a positive trend in its finances in FY24. We are now reviewing the decision in full and considering the options available to us. We remain committed to engaging constructively and ensuring that any action is fair, proportionate and determined through the appropriate processes.

It depends what your kids use online for. If it’s just gaming with their mates and you own the games already then you just need Xbox essentials, which is like £6.99 a month. If they access the online games catalogue and download games when they like, like Netflix, then you need premium which is £10.99 a month. If they want all of the above and access to newly released games when they come out then they need ultimate, which is £22.99 a month. Have a look online at hot uk deals as occasionally they have deals for 3 to 12 month codes for different levels that are much more cost effective than paying monthly.
