A couple of years old now but The Overlap episode with Ronnie O’Sullivan is a really good watch on you tube.

Great player for us in a golden era under MON, I remember when he signed it was Muzzy who? Full of running and contributing goals as well, he fitted in so well with Lennon, Parker and Taylor and later Savage, we had a midfield which played so well together. So many great memories of this period for us.

That signing sums up our recruitment in a nutshell, just why? Who thought it was a good idea? He wasn’t needed and was just a bizarre decision. He’s out on loan and will probably end up back with us drawing a wage and never playing.

I’d love to see Soumare go in January, that would be a great start to the new year.

We needed a no nonsense manager who wouldn’t stand for this level of ineptitude from the players, instead we got a nice guy who hasn’t got a clue. Our players have to be held to account.

The future is bleak. Dragged down by incompetence of the highest order by those in charge. No lessons are ever learned, one bad decision after another and to compound it they don’t even seem to care, we’re like a once favourite toy that’s now been discarded. Bad times but at least we have the memories. 🦊

When we got ourselves back up and actually weakened our team, lost our manager and the aftermath has been a disaster. Wasting the KDH money on Skipp, not off loading the likes of Soumare, Faes and Daka etc etc persisting with boring possession based football and not learning from previous mistakes, extending players contracts who clearly aren’t up to the standard required.

No striker that can score us a few goals and it will always be a struggle. How (just concentrating on the above) this has been allowed to happen is beyond me. The so called scouts, if we indeed have any have seriously let us down with Carranza, he’s absolutely out of his depth at this level, which leaves us with Daka and Ayew out of the senior pros, both offer nothing but are on high salaries. Do we throw a kid in to this toxic environment, is Bamford available on a pay per game? If we continue as we are we could definitely be relegated.
