That’s why I used to love the 40 over competition, towards the end of its life teams went at it hard and it was hugely entertaining. 50 overs is a long game and teams are cautious and try to bat the whole 50, not doing so cost Warwick dearly yesterday. We certainly miss Sol and the impetus he gives us at the top of the order.

He only knows how to play one way even if he doesn’t have the players to do it.

I think it’s more a case of disappointment, there are at least 4 players starting whom a lot of people never wanted to see in a Leicester shirt again.

This just shows how deep the swamp was, we’ve drained a lot but there is still the dregs to get rid of.

To be fair it was a great opening spell from OHD.

Really good win and showed a lot of fight. However being a party pooper we really should be winning these games comfortably with the strength of our squad and against severely weakened opponents. A home SF will be massive for the club and another day out potentially for the final.

I’m quite enjoying Ride or Die on Prime. Cape Fear has been so disappointing and a real bind to get through.
