  1. Not if you score than they do.
  2. If moves were made now by some other entity to buy our club, wouldn't the process likely take a lengthy period that would render us unable to make football-related moves (manager, recruitment, pre-season even) during the summer?
  3. If he were trying to get results he wouldn't have picked the players he did yesterday.
  4. Absolutely agree with this. Being deducted a few points next season is of no consequence compared with the long term health of the club. We would soon recoup those points with decent football management, organisation and personnel at the club anyway.
  5. Wasn't it said a few games ago that some of the squad were unhappy with the lack of intensity in training? I remember that also being stated as the case in the season after we won the title, and that was put down to Ranieri involving himself with our training sessions, which he had left completely to Shakespeare in the previous season ... and the drop-off in performance was awful. I wonder whether there is truth in that current allegation. It would certainly go somewhere to accounting for our lethargy on the pitch this season.
  6. This has been a big part of the problem all season. Our midfield don't have the motivation, aggression or technique to win the ball and they lack fight.
  7. Wow. This nails it so accurately. Surely the club will start to see the light
  8. Ah, thanks. Hoped it would be someone out of the blue.
  9. Which manager does this refer to, please? The link is blocked on my device.
  10. I agree 100% with this. I think he lost confidence under Rodgers and it's taken a while for him to get it back. I hope he progresses even further from his recent solid performances.
  11. True, but you have to give credit to Pearson for having the nous to engage Shakespeare and Walsh, and especially putting together a squad with a good mentality.
  12. Well done, great work.
  13. I thought the two instances were as good as identical. To give a pen for one and not the other was gross inconsistency.
  14. Any manager worth his salt would tell the DOF to f off and ignore him.
  15. Leicester don't turn up for ANY matches. You'll be fine.
  16. The way to go ... so it won't be anything like this.!
  17. That's a worry. I wonder whether they could turn to some insightful past players for advice? Schmeichel is the most obvious one.
  18. Thanks for the clarification. It's certainly interesting, and gives some hope for the end of this season.
  19. I can't get my head round this. If he wanted to leave, why didn't he just leave?
  20. But he was in the team that beat W Ham. Just saying ...
  21. What level of money are you suggesting? Surely it doesn't compare with what we're paying our current pros?
  22. The problem is that we overpay for rubbish.
  23. But if he's on the bench there's a possibility of him getting on the pitch.
  24. Watched Calvin Bassey today. Competent Prem CB - fast, solid, good positioning & awareness; and he chips in with the odd goal. It sucks to see him with Fulham as compared with the dross we have at CB. Castagne had a solid game too.
