Fair on the us not watching you on a regular basis. We are, after all, Leicester fans. And you're right, we'll never see enough of your football to know for sure, it just happens that what we do see (goals etc) makes people think you've had plenty of luck. On the Preston point, however, @Arriba Los Zorros specifically called them out in the post you're quoting, asking why no-one was calling them out rather than Ipswich. So think you've missed that, perhaps! Completely fair, and we've acknowledged that, and been impressed by how well Hirst has worked for your system. Lots of us said in this thread that you would suffer without him, and that Kieffer Moore was a good signing for you as he should replace Hirst nicely. Maidstone was a cup game, and nobody is taking that into account for the league. Yes, to a degree. I think it's also the juxtaposition of the "couple of lucky moments" against our degree of luck. Perhaps a bit of admiration tinged with jealousy, quite frankly 😂. Yes, these things are mentioned on here, but you'll also notice we're mostly hoping you go up. Just not at our expense 😉. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Wow. And yet we're still further ahead of 2nd then they were then. The gap to 3rd, mine was significantly greater for them!

Bristol 3-0 Saints. Blimey.
-
Praet's done well enough, not sure why anyone would call him out. Nobody has been as good in the second half as they were the first. No need to be, I guess.
-
Think that stumble on the break might have made Enzo's decision for him re: Fatawu. He's been brilliant, but fresher legs needed.

Yeah it makes sense, Enzo is his mate after all so smart to not go into detail about it, as Guillem's opinion could easily be attributed to Enzo, or at least influenced by it. I thought he showed that degree of awareness in the way he answered one of you essentially asking which players in the squad are PL ready hahahaha. Well done Boys, this was a really enjoyable, insightful pod. Guillem seems like a great guy, and it's so refreshing to have someone in the media who can talk about us and not just lazily suggest our squad is just PL players so that should mean we win the league. -

Listening at the moment. So am I right in thinking that Guillem suggested 10-12 or maybe 12-14 players from our current squad would be good enough for the PL? That does sound about right, but my oh my that's a proper rebuild in the summer. Which makes sense, given a bunch are off on frees anyway. But still...a lot of business to do in the summer. -
Damn, got 2 minutes of a decent stream and now it's gone.
-
I agree. I am convinced it's the one silver lining of our being so generous with wages though: I thought we'd get ripped apart for our players in the summer, but for those below the Maddison/Barnes level, clubs probably aren't prepared to pay the high wages for players that have been relegated. It's not like us signing Maguire from Hull when they went down, where we can offer him more money as well as a better platform.
-
The piss this would take given we needed someone to leave to sign Sensi 😂
-
I hate that we got relegated, but the fact that we were has undoubtedly given Nelson and McAteer that bit more of a chance of 1st team action. Miniscule silver linings and all that. Really excited about and for him.

Awful, awful reading. Heart goes out to Maddy's family. What an awful way to treat someone. And that it did that much damage shows what's reported here was probably just the tip of the iceberg.
-
Wouldn't it be joyous? Even if it failed, the confusion on opposition players' faces and pundits loss of explanation would just be wonderful.
-
I would also love it if Enzo went full Pep and just decided to retrain Souttar as a box crashing, physical #8 😂. Never going to happen, but boy would it be funny to see.
-
It does fortunately give Akgun more of a run in the side, and he's started to find some form as an 8, which is great. As Enzo touched on before, he did want some more physicality in there alongside KDH, which without Ndidi and Casadei we now lack.
-
I have three big concerns following this window: 1) For all his detractors, Casadei was an option, and has scored goals for us. We now don't have him, so we are weaker than when we started the season, as Ndidi is also out until April. 2) How is it that we can't even afford a loan to at least get a body in for CM cover? Casadei has gone back, so his wages/fee have gone. How do we have even less funds to play with than the start of the season if we've spent nothing and technically should have lower outgoings? 3) What exactly does this mean for the summer? Can we actually sign anyone? Can we even take up Fatawu's purchase option? Yunus'? How are we going to replace the 6 or so outgoing squad members who are out of contract if we have no funds? If we're that close to the brink with PSR or whatever it's called, can we afford to replace those players other than in terms of wages?
-
This is what worries me too. I wonder if we can actually even afford those fees now. And if we do (which obviously I want us to), we then have no transfer pot to strengthen, despite a number of our squad being out of contract.
-
Keeping Enzo would be a start 🤞
-
Sort of. That's one angle suggested. The other is that there are work permit or "legal issues" holding up the deal. Basically, nobody has a clue. And neither do we.

Hey, what two grown men get up to in a honeymoon suite is entirely their business.
-
What makes it even better is...sorry, you're making a curry in the oven? That feels very on brand for us right now.
-
He's exactly what they've been missing without Hirst. Think he'll help them click again. Give Southampton a good run for their money, fingers crossed.

Unless we don't engage 👀

His sometime ITK status I guess
