Does it even deserve us sparing it a breath? I hate that we went down because of Rodgers, but I'm far more invested in the job Enzo and Co are now doing. I firmly believe we will be a better, stronger club because of Enzo.

If Doyle is now back, I'm wondering if we do in fact need that LB/LCB still. JJ is on good form, Doyle is coming back... I still think we need to get a permanent signing in that position soon, but I guess it's not essential before the summer now? Always good to bed players in, but equally the team harmony seems so so good right now, and with JJ and Doyle there's the right amount of competition.

Fair enough. Didn't realise he had an OnlyFans.

Excuse me, why are we not sharing with the class, hmm? 🥺

Ipswich down another striker, although he wasn't getting game time anyway. They'll definitely be in the market for one in January.

Ipswich (A) 1 - 1 - Boxing Day - Post-Match Thread

I've got a lot of respect for Maresca here. Could easily have gone off against the referee, who missed a number of incidents, but can clearly see the bigger picture. He doesn't think we should rely on being awarded penalties and things we can't control: He cares that we created our own chances, but just didn't take them. We can influence that. We can't force the referee to change his "decision". -

A fair point, can't begrudge Ipswich that. Awful second half though, and although he was okay, generally as soon as Casadei replaced Ndidi we lost control and energy. KDH sucked even more energy out of us, and we looked so, so leggy into the end. I've had a lot of faith in Nacho, but I've had enough now. Offered nothing. Why Cannon couldn't be brought on to help press better I've no idea. Daka did a great job, but understandably he needed to be protected. Anyway, 6 points clear of second, Ipswich now holding off the pack from 3rd down. Hope we both go up automatically. -
Good game so far. Very competitive. Not too inspired by Coady, but I guess he hasn't had much football of late?
-
In his defense I don't think @StriderHiryumeant he thinks they are amateur, just that you have to take highlights of players in some non-top tier leagues with a pinch of salt.
-
Could be that Praet goes. Not sure that Casadei will go back unless Chelsea or Casadei want him to get more game time elsewhere. I think Enzo will want to show faith in him. What have you heard? 👀

We can indeed. Hold on to that feeling. It's glorious to just know in your gut you're proving so many people wrong. Let them be dismissive—it takes the pressure off!—and enjoy the ride.

I swear I saw that a while ago, and that it was offered in the summer?
-
What @brucey said ☝️. Wednesday have taken 7 points from their last 9—they're on the up. Danny Rohl appears to be making an impact there already.

I love him as a person. Articulate, humble, and just happy to be playing. Doesn't seem the type to complain, he just waits for his chance and takes it. Really hope he gets more chances and kicks on from here. He definitely has areas he lacks in as part of his game, but I just really want him to succeed. I'll never forget when he first joined us and had to be shut up in that hotel he just read books about our title win 🥹. G'won Patson;

I think it's because Plymouth are allowing that space though. If we could play more like this, we would. But how often have we seen a gap in beyond like Daka created today? It just doesn't happen in this division. Teams squeeze the space in behind, so we try to draw them forward. Daka doing that is *exactly* what happens when opponents "fall" for the trap.

Cannon and Praet coming on

Keep making screenshots @StriderHiryu

Was just about to ask when the press conference was. Cheers @moore_94!

Welcome! Always good to see other teams' fans come on and chat with level heads. I think you'll certainly give us a game, and have a few threats we need to be wary of (Whittaker, for starters). It will be interesting to see if you do come at us, or go for a mid block. If the former, there's a good chance we could rip through if our attackers are having a good day. Then again, if you go for a mid block and focus on transitions you're likely to have some joy. Be a fun one to watch! Lot of respect for Schumacher's work with you.

Rotherham, Sunderland and Swansea all managerless at the moment then. I reckon Duff could go to Rotherham, Nathan Jones to Sunderland, and...no idea for Swansea!
-
With you almost all the way there, except for one part: Why a goalkeeper?

Brief overview/scouting report for him: https://medium.com/@pranav_m28/the-brazilian-alternative-to-levi-colwill-bacaa8ab1c0b Compared favourably to Levi Colwill, who we were trying to sign summer before Brighton had him on loan.

He was mentioned a little while ago I think, so perhaps there's truth in this? I certainly hope so, as we definitely need competition for Doyle. Heatmap looks positive for playing that role too:

Wednesday beating Blackburn now.

Winks you ****ING LEGEND.
