indierich06 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Alright guys, Back in town in a couple of weeks with the in-laws in tow, looking for a half decent pub around Leicester or in the town centre with a decent board - anyone know of any? My future father-in-law is a big darts player, as are a few of my family, but our local (Black Horse in Aylestone) has had a refurb and you can't get a look in there now, as they've put the dartboard in a dining area and they won't move the table until they've stopped serving food so it's a bit of a non-starter.
pSinatra Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 King Richard iii on high cross street The King Richard III is good for darts. Got it's own little darts room at the back. Also, the Foresters Arms on Frog Island - got a couple of boards. The Aberdale on Shackerdale Road. The Cricketers on Grace Road

Go over to the union mate and the landlord Steve is a good bloke. The cricketers also has a dartboard.
indierich06 Posted 1 June 2015 Author Posted 1 June 2015 don't most pubs have a dartboard? You'd be surprised. And some do, but the board is absolute dogshit
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Rileys in town is a bit of a dive but it has pool, 9 ball tables, darts, snooker and bingo, something for all the family.
Guest MattP Posted 2 June 2015 Posted 2 June 2015 The boards in the King Richard III are great, I'd head there if I were you.
