cheshamfox17 Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 As I am sure many of you are I am already missing watching Leicester play, particularly after our special end to the season. So I thought people on this board might be interested in the fact that you can get the chance to see our dear captain play in the Copa America for Jamaica. CONMEBOL is a pretty small federation with only ten teams so they always invite a couple of non South American teams and have chosen Jamaica and Mexico this time. All the teams squads are here:http://www.ca2015.com/en/gallery/check-out-all-the-confirmed-squad-lists-for-copa-america-2015/1h8mayss1vkwq17xye2x69rxd7Unfortunately Ulloa did not make the Argentina squad apparently they are happy with Di Maria, Messi, Higuain, Lavezzi, Aguero, Tevez and Lamela as their attacking options, which on balance I suppose it just about fair haha.Jamaica will be playing Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay which is a pretty tough draw but hopefully we will get to see Wes play agaisnt Messi and Cavani which should be interesting. Jamaica's games are:Uruguay: Saturday 13th June 20:00Paraguay: Tuesday 16th June 22:00Argentina: Saturday 20th June 22:30All the game will be streamed on Youtube and on Xbox Live and it should be a very interesting summer distraction until the Premier League and more importantly the foxes are back
ealingfox Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Hopefully we will be able to ransom a decent amount from Barca for making Wes release Messi and Suarez from his back pocket.

Yeah they are, the rest of the fixtures are here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/copa-america/fixtures Hopefully we will be able to ransom a decent amount from Barca for making Wes release Messi and Suarez from his back pocket. Perhaps Messi but Suarez is still banned for the bite
CosbehFox Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 After this, he's straight off to the U.S. for Copa America.
cheshamfox17 Posted 3 June 2015 Author Posted 3 June 2015 Well if he did he didn't make their squad either
Staffs Fox Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 So have Youtube and Xbox got the exclusive rights? Are BBC/Sky not showing it?
cc_star Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Didn't Ulloa change nationalities to play for Chile? No, he rejected the chance I think. Argie boss said if he maintained his early season form he would have a look at him, but obviously that didn't happen as the team's form nosedived. Maybe if we're more even next season he'll get a look-in
CosbehFox Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Ulloa spoke to Chile about eligibility. That was as far as it got.
cheshamfox17 Posted 3 June 2015 Author Posted 3 June 2015 So have Youtube and Xbox got the exclusive rights? Are BBC/Sky not showing it? Yeah that's what the independent have said anyway: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/international/copa-america-2015-when-does-it-start-and-where-can-i-watch-it-10228100.html "No UK television broadcaster has picked up the rights to the tournament yet, but all matches will be streamed on Xbox Live and YouTube."
Footballwipe Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Unfortunately Premier sports have the rights to this. Their HD channel won't be ready in time for the Copa America, so it's SD and £9.99 to watch the tournament. Because of the above deal YouTube will be geoblocked in the UK, apparently, for the tournament, though I hope that's not the case.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Easy enough to get around if that is the case.
