Bluearmyfox28 Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 I would take a punt on Diaby. If we can get him anywhere near his best we will have a real player on our hands. Would imagine we would be able to pick him up on the cheap too considering his injuries!
Gerard Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 I wouldn't touch Micah Richards with a barge pole. He's 26 now and has failed at Man City and Fiorentina and hasn't done anything for years. This isn't the 18 year old that broke into the England team and great things were expected.
Guest Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 Barton, would be a great addition to the squad, when was the last time he caused any upset in a dressing room? I cant remember him doing it for a while. Diaby would be a gamble but a gamble worth taking as long as he's either on small wages or pay as you play. Richards, would be class as long as he can get his form back Joey, you signed up just to say that did you?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 Diaby is broken, why are people even suggesting this? It's like people foaming when we were linked with Hargreaves in the summer of 2011; it's a lovely thought to imagine they'll come here and miraculously get over their injury issues but they won't.

FOXES-BROWNBOY Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 no chance Pearson would want Barton in the dressing room
Wymsey Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 no chance Pearson would want Barton in the dressing room More chance of Joe Mattock returning than him.
4everfox Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Ronaldinho on a pay as you play and Cambiasso together would be a 2006 dream team The day Nigel Pearson signs Ronaldinho is the day I commit suicide.
4everfox Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Barton?! Don't question Joey Barton as a potential signing, Dan whatever his name is won't be happy.
NGoloMode Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Ryo Miyaichi - still only 22 and I always thought he had potential. I've watched a bit of this guy just because I was curious why Arsenal kept him on and never play him. He is not a very good footballer and came to the conclusion he sells shirts in Asia. But the that's what our owners are looking for in 1 signing this summer from an interview I read.

I reckon that's why we're so heavily linked with Okazaki
zak_lcfc Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 Jesus Christ. They've all been released for a reason.. Weren't Cambiasso released by Inter and Albrighton from Villa both important for us? I understand your point but not all players that are released are useless there are a number of reasons that players don't get new contracts, I think players like Richards and Mulumbu would be useful to us and Pearson definitely sees the value in signing out of contracts players.
