foxholecharlie Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 I think Glenn Hoddle would be a good shout. Not as a manager just coach. That way the rest of the staff could stay in place. I still think he has a lot to give and of course we would get sexy football.
RizLCFC Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Zidane I'm not sure if I want him here but there's been a few rumours flying about that Steve Bruce will be approached.
Guest Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 It's a sad state of affairs that everyone seems to now be settling for a downgrade on Pearson. What the **** has happened? We had the man to take us forward already in place and the owners have well and truly ballsed it up without a plan in place to move forward. I'm still raging about it and fully expect to be completely underwhelmed by the appointment. What other option do we have though? We binned off a manager who, for all his faults, was consistently progressing us. What we'll end up with is largely a lucky dip given what the options are. Sure it might be an improvement, but we've traded off a more likely improvement for that possibility.

Yeah, that's the problem. We currently don't have a better option. It just pisses me off we're in this position.
Bagworthblue Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Sepp Blatter at least it means he doesn't stay at FIFA - How unselfish of us to have him to protect world football
