David Hankey Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 No surprise to see this suggestion but c'mon seriously it ain't goin' to happen.
nativefox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Whilst he will be remembered as a great manager for us, he was very quick to jump and go to Villa, putting our club into the wilderness for 11 years. He is now past it, a footballing dinosaur, we need someone who embraces the sports sience aspect of the modern game, I dont think mon is that person. I dont think allardyce is a long term optioo either, lennon is totally un proven, redknapp is a total joke, I think he lost it when he wasn't given the england gig. I dont know what will happen now, but it is a huge appointment the owners have to make, it better be someon special. If its dyche, well.... When did O'Neill leave us to go to Villa?
Deucalion Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I'm over O'Neill now. I have had other heroes. The return voyage has already sailed.
lestajigs Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 We have got to remember he will not be the o Neil of the past
EGBFitness Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Heard he was around the club quite abit near end of the season. Not saying this is gospel. Can't see him coming back would happen though.
Guest Cujek Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 When did O'Neill leave us to go to Villa? Meant Celtic, been a rough night.
Freesolo Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 O'Neill would get blown away in the modern game, he was a good motivator and man manager but he is a relic now
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 O'Neill would get blown away in the modern game, he was a good motivator and man manager but he is a relic now This exactly. His heart doesn't seem into club football no more either. He has a cushy job managing his country until he decides to retire.
