Happy Fox Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 The negotiations to bring Cambiasso to City were complicated and it is unclear whether the departure of manager Nigel Pearson could add to the difficulties. Director of football Jon Rudkin and director of football operations Andrew Neville have been conducting a lot of the transfer and contract signings, and now they have the additional issue of identifying City's next manager. ealingfox Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 Have no reason to doubt Rudkin's abilities as a decision-maker at this point but Neville is obviously a mug and I cant see the Thais listening to Rudkin enough.
Babylon Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 If we don't have list of potential replacements updated regularly just in case, then they are idiots.

Bagworthblue Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 you know articles like this bug me. They suggest something but then do not back it up with any sort of quote from Rudkin or Neville. Are we supposed to read between the lines ? Have they even spoken to them? Where does this information come from? It kind of leaves makes the article irrelevant but it's happening more and more in the press of late
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I can almost guarantee that Rudkin would have been instrumental in giving Pearson the boot, they both had a somewhat mutual dislike of each other to say the least.
