I don't have an ipad. tried to download for Kodi but the BBC has blocked UK vpns so I can't get Iplayer working even using ghost.

Im sure there is a vpn site the bbc cant block, i read somewhere. Ill try and find out.

Have you tried smart dns? Claims to work with Iplayer but I've never tried it for that, I use it so I can use American based websites

I presume you can switch that on and off.

Thanks for the suggestion.

 

In the end I found a simple chrome add on which solved the problem.

 

And the match was great.

No it's on all the while it recognises when you want to use a geo locked website and opens it for you but it don't affect websites where you need a uk ip

Haven't seen any games on Phoenix for a while?

The weekend games have still been on there, they come on about 2:50pm. I agree though it hasn't been as good as in recent months, since the layout changed anyway.

Ok I bought a MXQ quad core box , arrived today and main aim is to watch football but just turned on and I'm a complete novice so could do with some help.

A lot of you talk about Phoenix is this an app ?

Should I somehow hide my vpn and if so what's the best way

Basically just best way to watch football and I'll work the rest out later

With NJM back up and running it's now reliable. Used to love the Pheonix streams but there never up on my stick anymore.

I have (I think)

I've just had a look. I've had to re-install it again through Ares Wizard and it works. Just watched a bit of the Utd game in full HD.

Got it working  now Installed both modules but I've done that before. Had the Utd game on mute. About 5 minutes to go, turned away to look at TV, when I looked again Newcastle had Scored. Saw rooneys goal as I turned on.

Installed some of the Ares add ons now.
