Guest Col city fan Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 I see 'Shipman out' hasn't responded to my post above where he categorically stated 'we are favourites to go down' when actually we aren't. Another example of negativity in action.
Suffolk exile Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 I'm just hoping we keep the atmosphere we had for large parts of last season This!
Shipman Out Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 I see 'Shipman out' hasn't responded to my post above where he categorically stated 'we are favourites to go down' when actually we aren't. Another example of negativity in action. What I meant was that we are one of the favourites to go down not THE favourite. we are not established yet and need to approach the season with that mentality. Winning a Mini league of 5/6 teams. Was trying to get the point across that we need to be passionate and loud not sitting down in our seats waiting for us to do something, which Id say is the complete opposite of "negativity in action"
MC Prussian Posted 1 August 2015 Posted 1 August 2015 In general, the sense of novelty or anticipation and the amount of uncertainty. How the supporters were part of an incredible rollercoaster ride of emotions under Pearson, the highs and lows that'll probably remain unparalleled for a while (unless we manage to climb up the table each year or put together a great cup run). Before the start of last season, we had no similar records to fall back onto for ten years and a lot had changed in the game since 2004. Hardly any other team or opposing supporters had heard of our squad or our manager prior to last season, so there was an element of surprise weighing in. We were tough to define from the outside as an "unknown entity".
