Aren't they just "kids who are trying to go to school"? Comparing this to wheelchair ramps? What the hell?! Those do not make non-physically-handicapped people uncomfortable, so how is that at all comparable? And some might say, the girls who don't want to change or shower with this person should just themselves change or shower separately, but then couldn't they face bullying for being "not accepting" of this person's choice to identify as female? Not sure how old she is, I do feel uncomfortable that anyone still in school can be mature enough to understand their own body and mind enough to appreciate they need gender reassignment.

American high school has ages usually from 14 to 18. Which is why I find this so wrong. Along with the person possibly not being mature enough to understand the decision to identify as female... Imagine having a 14-year-old daughter and sending her to school, knowing she might be changing across from an 18-year-old person who is biologically male. Sure, this person might be sexually attracted to men, and sure, there will be girls who are attracted to women who will be changing with your daughter too, but the thought of an 18-year-old man (biologically at least, I don't want to argue about gender) changing with a 14-year-old girl is frightening and makes me uncomfortable no matter the specifics. Usually in my old high school, gym class would be mixed with all ages, though one rarely would have time to shower. And with the sports team, this person might be part of an older group who do not train/shower/change at the same time as the younger group. I am unsure how this all works at that specific school.
