Pleased to hear he's doing well at Blackburn from what I gather, a few MOTM's and goals, good stuff.

I'm beginning the see what Kingy's up against here when a few decent games for a struggling Championship side get a youngster talked of in the same breath as a guy who has the best record of any Leicester midfielder.

Pretty ridiculous, i have to agree.

It's also ridiculous how a player getting rave reviews in a league we're not long out of is supposedly never going amount to anything.

Everything has to be black and white on here. Nothing wrong with speculating that he may become of use to us.

It's certainly exciting to hear rave reviews about one of our lads. I get that some people are keen to avoid over-hyping him, and that's fair. Thing is though, it's not necessarily fair to bring up how he played us for us last year, for a number of reasons.

1) It's a year on. He's young, it's very possible that he's a better player now

2) The whole team was awful right then. Drinky didn't look like he could cut it in the Prem back then either

3) He's playing a completely different role, and it seems like he's much more suited to it. Even if he'll never be an out and out main striker, the kid is clearly best as a forward, playing in an attacking role. The wingers we were playing with then were not like not like we use them now, and half the time he seemed to end up in centre mid.

No, he shouldn't be considered as good as King, having never played well for us, and yes, there's every chance that if we brig him back in January he still won't ready for the Prem. Vardy and Mahrez both looked lacking some of the time last year and neither of them was 21. That doesn't mean there's not scope to be excited for a young lad who might be on the path to add another exciting attacking talent to the team. Really hope he gets a full chance to have a go at the Netherlands on friday.

My house mate is a huge Rovers fan, he said Lawrence has been on of the few positives of what has so far been a season to forget for them. Apparently scored some great finishes and been key to a few of their goals. Although he did miss a sitter in their game against Burnley who then scored a winner 5 minutes later which hasn't been forgotten by a few of the Rovers support.

Chris Coleman has been very complimentary about him this morning, he's set to start tomorrow night. Big chance for him against a big nation that's there for the taking.
