at least I can remember nick powell touching the ball, lingard must've made 4 or 5 sub apps without a touch of the ball for us, lawrence was the same. albeit more understandable as he was making his sub apps for a horrendously out of form prem team who didn't want to attack.

hopefully with confidence he comes back some time and is great like everyone said he was meant to be

how the hell can you forget Powell's shot against West Brom that went out for a throwing?

yep like i said nick powell touched the ball, he even had a shot! all lingard did was fall over his massive shorts and try and roll his massive sleeves up

We will need him back in our squad in January when Mahrez and Schlupp go to the African cup of nations.

Fair play to the lad.

Didn't get much of a chance here, went on loan and is doing well! Don't think for one we'd sell him.

Jamie is a quality player, just  a few months from being premier league level. He as already at Andy King's level, and will overtake him shortly. He will be proper class for us. No way should we let him go. Don Claudio will know all this.

Already top goal scorer in the league ....    When he reaches 'premier league level' he will be awesome !!

Mental aberration on my part.Tom Lawrence, of course. I'm just Jamie mad at the moment.

I've seen Lawrence in the flesh this season, he's a decent No.10. Claudio seems keen on trying the 4-2-3-1, there may be room for him later on this season in our first team as he would offer a different option to what we have now.

He can play any role of the 3 in a 4231 so there's no excuse for 'not fitting in' formation wise, just all depends on whether he's good enough or not. Many Welsh fans think he'll get a start in the CAM role against Netherlands in their upcoming friendly

Man U fans who watch their teams at all levels are baffled how he was sold.

Blackburn fans are pleased with his performances this season.

It's got to be good news for City. It is a squad game. Dyer is on loan, too.

I suspect he will have an important part to play next season.

Well done Walsh /Pearson /whoever was doing the recruiting 18months ago.

This guy has done a real good job for Blackburn i've heard.

would love to see him back in the squad soon. :scarf:

What the Blackburn sitting near the relegation places in the Championship and have just sacked their manager? Think you may have heard wrong on this one.

So because he cant carry a team on his back means he isn't playing well? He has looked very good in the few games I have seen him play, direct, runs at defences and has got a lot of skill. Imagine a number 10 Vardy and thats Tom Lawrence. I think he can make the step up and wouldn't be surprised to see him play regular games by the end of January for us if we still need a number 10.

You are ridiculous.

He's having a few decent games for championship relegation candidates.

He did the same at Rotherham last season and then we bought him back and he was dog mess when we played him. Now, he could well have matured and improved and he's certainly worth assessing over the early part of January but let's not pin any hopes on him coming back and being the number 10 saviour.

Pretty much this. Keep an eye on him but let him stay somewhere like Blackburn (or somewhere where he's guaranteed first team football) for the season and then bring him back into the first team squad in pre-season and see how he gets on. There's definitely a player in there, we're just yet to see it in his very limited game time with us.

he has a lot of talent and can run with the ball at defenders. reminds me of kingy. he has a bright future ahead

err... what?

For all of Kingy's strengths... skinning defenders isnt one of them.....
