Considering we're still experimenting trying to find someone to play alongside, or just behind Vardy - might actually be worth giving him a go when he comes back in January, you never know, he might just be the answer. Certainly come up with some cracking assists on the Football League highlights for Blackburn so far.

I'd completely forgotten about him! Also didn't realise he was at Blackburn and playing well as I now turn my nose up at Championship football.m

If you remember, last season he went at the defence with a vengeance and got it wrong. He still does the same this season, but appears to have got it right !

Looked massively out of his depth when he came on last season, can't say I've seen him play this season though

Tbf alot of our team looked out of depth at the time we started playing Lawrence, now we get forward and attack better Lawrence could be a starter for us if we give him the opportunity. We need to play him though if we want to keep him, didn't he say he left man united because he wanted first team football?

Why the hell do people think we would sell him, that beggers belief.

He is on loan to improve and to eventually improve our squad......anyone thinking a move to bournemouth, swansea or even valencia is a progressive move is mad.

That depends on what we're offered and how good we'll think he'll be.

For example if we think he'll be a £5m player but someone offers us £7m then we should sell. He's only worth keeping if we think he'll eventually be better than what we have, I'm not averse to selling good young players if we don't think they'll improve us. A bit like Sunderland selling us Waghorn for £3m, a good young player but has ultimately proved himself to be not quite good enough for Sunderland.

Even I'm good enough for Sunderland..

Sky sports reporting on Tom Lawrence story tonight. Blackburn desperate to keep him, three other clubs desperate to sign him it seems .

He must stay. Haven't Man U got first dibs for £11m?

I've watched him in a blackburn game and he was immense. I also saw him get his first cap for Wales and he looked really quite good. Not afraid to attack.

He just needed a run of games and maybe that's what Kramaric could do with, Lawrence was always going to be a good prospect that's why Man Utd have the clause in his contract. Get him back in a City shirt in January, this lad could be the new Vardy.....

Up the City....

probably second only to jesse lingard in people who've looked most out of place on a football pitch when he played for us.

decent if he's doing well now though, hopefully he carries on doing well and if for some reason all our better players in his position leave or get injured we've got a replacement.

Jamie is a quality player, just  a few months from being premier league level. He as already at Andy King's level, and will overtake him shortly. He will be proper class for us. No way should we let him go. Don Claudio will know all this.

...Nick Powell was worse than Lingard?

at least I can remember nick powell touching the ball, lingard must've made 4 or 5 sub apps without a touch of the ball for us, lawrence was the same. albeit more understandable as he was making his sub apps for a horrendously out of form prem team who didn't want to attack.

hopefully with confidence he comes back some time and is great like everyone said he was meant to be
