AKCJ Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 What position do they have him playing? Wide right I think. Although I'm only really taking occasional glances at the game.
chicagofox Posted 20 February 2016 Posted 20 February 2016 The sooner we sell this kid the better. He wasn't the answer in our relegation fight. He hasn't been the answer in our title push. He is hardly going to be he answer for our Champions League campaign.

He is hardly going to be he answer for our Champions League campaign.[/quote News Flash: Young players improve with games! He's not the answer now, but get more championship games into him, then maybe next season a short loan to Hull/Bournemouth team towards the bottom of the premier league, get games into him and see what happens. Can't see why we would sell, looks our best young prospect behind Chilwell.
chicagofox Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 So we should keep him to loan him out again next season. What is the point?
adam95581 Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 So we should keep him to loan him out again next season. What is the point? Joe Hart Danny Drinkwater Tom Cleverly Harry Kane Aaron Ramsey Jesse Lingard Kyle Naughton All of the above were loaned out by the big 5/6 Prem clubs to championship teams and are now either established premier league players or are on their way to establishing themselves...why wouldn't we keep someone who shows promise and signs of improving rather than cutting them loose just for someone else to take a chance on them?
VLC86 Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 So we should keep him to loan him out again next season. What is the point? So if someone doesn't improve the team this instant we should get rid?

TJB-fox Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 The sooner we sell this kid the better. He wasn't the answer in our relegation fight. He hasn't been the answer in our title push. He is hardly going to be he answer for our Champions League campaign. The sooner we sell him the better, you say this like he's hindering our title chances! I think for his sake he should leave because even when we were a relegation threatened team he struggled to make an impact so I doubt he'd be able to get a game in a top 4 side sadly, despite CR's good record with youngsters. However there seems to be a place here for Demarai Gray and arguably Lawrence has been far better in the championship than Gray was. Although, I do acknowledge that Gray probably suits us better.I like TL personally and doubt he's on a massive wage so hope we keep him but I think for his career he needs to move on permanently. Had lots of loads similar to Drinkwater, so I think that just like DD did here, he needs to find a permanent home in the championship where he can get games.
ImBlue Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Hope he does well out on loan. Can get a good fee for him them off mugs like Blackburn.
