m4DD0gg Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Jose Mourinho, Roberto Mancini, Carlo Ancelotti, and Manuel Pellegrini have all recently won the Premier League. The Premier League makes mince meat of British managers. Six British managers have been sacked since the end of last season. Yeh 3 of those have been sacked and the 4th will be in the summer if not before and between them they have been through well over a BILLION quid in transfer fees.
Jordan Posted 23 December 2015 Posted 23 December 2015 Yeh 3 of those have been sacked and the 4th will be in the summer if not before and between them they have been through well over a BILLION quid in transfer fees.Stop having a laugh. Just about every manager in the world would wish to be half of the "failures" those four are.Besides, Mourinho is still being linked heavily to Manchester United, Mancini has pretty much gone strength to strength in his career and is also on Chelsea's shortlist, Ancelotti spent a few months being wanted by almost everybody and is taking the Bayern Munich job (which you have to have a stellar reputation to get), and Pellegrini will go because Man City are bringing in the biggest name in the game. I'll say again, you're having a laugh if you think the Premier League has made "mince meat" out of any of them. Also consider that only two managers in the Premier League have had their jobs for over three years--one of them is Arsène Wenger, and the other is Eddie Howe in his first season in the league. All managers have short shelf lives, that's just the nature of the game. Yet all of the managers I've mentioned have all won the title in their limited time, and all still have their reputations very much intact.
