surrifox Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Might be his best century that.Agreed . Given the conditions and the delicate state of the game and the series it's got to be
surrifox Posted 15 January 2016 Posted 15 January 2016 Still not convinced about Hales ' credentials in the 5 day format - I cannot see how he is an improvement on Lyth
Guest MattP Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Firmly believe today could the day where we either win or lose this series.
leicsmac Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Looks like it's going to be very close to parity here.
surrifox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Good bowling conditions today if Jimmy and Broady are up forit
marko Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 What a spell this is! When he's in his groove there's no better bowler in world cricket than Stuart Broad - can turn a match in a few overs.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Bringing back fond memories of that Thursday morning at TB.
Osavo Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 At times like this Broad is just absolutely unplayable.
marko Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 That's the seventh time Stuart Broad has taken a five wicket haul in a single spell. Game changer!
Guest MattP Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Has a session ever come together so perfectly?
marko Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 On a side note, the cricket crowds in South Africa seem to have a decent quota of aesthetically pleasing young ladies.
leicsmac Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 What an utterly devastating display of quick bowling from Broad, Finn and Stokes all.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 230 wickets in the last 5 years for Broad. Insane.
Guest MattP Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 A Test Series win in South Africa, this team is seriously going places.
leicsmac Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Seen Amla's record against Broad and Anderson though? He'll have been licking his lips in anticipation of this series. Playing a team with only 2 decent batsmen, a fragile and mentally weak middle order and a bowling attack missing their only world-class bowler means this series is just what he needs as both a batsman and a captain. 2-0 Saffers, we'll get a couple of draws. Whoops. (Sorry for bringing this one up ealing, but couldn't resist )
Hereford:Fox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 A Test Series win in South Africa, this team is seriously going places. I really like the look of this England side, Root especially has the potential to be one of the best ever.
marko Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Another pearl from the oracle of English cricket!
