RowlattsFox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 When gayle is hitting it like that you just hope he skies one because its the only way you're getting him out. Bowling wasn't great but it's difficult. Not sure why rashid only bowled 2 overs, he's supposed to be the wicket taker.
theessexfox Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Will always cherish the fact that I saw Gayle hit a century in a T20 (CPL game) - he does it in an absolutely effortless way.
purpleronnie Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Our bowling baffles the mind. Gayle must have thought it was his birthday and christmas combined.
Corky Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Willey and Topley have potential, Jordan I just don't rate, Rashid could take wickets but is likely to be clattered around the park, Ali is a Test spinner. Would've given Plunkett a go.
Bert Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 They've put too much focus on being able to bat down 10 rather than focus on two decent proper wicket takers
BoyJones Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Some of our batting is Michelin star, but most of our bowling is cafeteria (help yourself) Shameful how brain dead some of our bowlers are, Gayle is class, but why make it easy for him?
Corky Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 New Zealand have been very effective so far, scored 268 in their two games and won both.
Guest MattP Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 New Zealand have been very effective so far, scored 268 in their two games and won both. Sodhi is some spinner, finally have a replacement for Vettori. His combined figures for the first two matches must be outrageous.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Australia have always flattered to deceive in T20Is. They think it's just about brute force and power, but they aren't a very cohesive unit.
Harry96 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Anyone fancy England to beat the South Africans today?
RatbyBlue Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Winning the toss is a good start, bowling second with a wet ball looks real difficult...
IOWFOX Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Well this is not a great start from topley, could be in trouble at this rate.
Harry96 Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 50-0 off 4 overs. England's bowling options are ****
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 50-0 off 4 overs. England's bowling options are **** But 2-0 after the first over so that's 48 runs off 18 balls!!
IOWFOX Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Just when you thought that england had taken as big a beating as possible off gayle, they go and outdo themselves yet again.
EastAnglianFox Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Embarrassing that professional cricketers cannot bowl straight at the right length!
purpleronnie Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Are they simply bad bowlers or do they just lose their nerve? Because its getting pretty tiresome watching england play good cricket leading up to major tournaments then falling apart.
IOWFOX Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 Just imagine how good de kock would be if he gave up the music career.
