fuchsntf Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 Interesting topic... I know I feel different to the past seasons. It still hasnt sunk in.. When we have been promoted, or staved off relegation in the past. Even last seasons great escape, it gaves us all I suppose 'job well done' a feel of hope for the future type of emotions. This goes away from anything near past positive. A new dimension of unexplicables, the ride and journeys end, is I suppose, knowing the bus has stopped, not sure if its just for a cafe n cake ( pss stop) and it has still more miles, but whatever Its still misty windows so you cant see where you are or where your going. Maybe this is the difference..the Title brings you that... marvellous mighty mystery tour of the unknown.....feeling. We are on a new journey of discovery, where we have never been, so how can we explain our feelings, we have lived and died with semi-potential a n d failure, so what the fuchs do we do with this success. Leicester folk, Leicester peoples, have together, without any single claim, have won the lottery.
teblin Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 Nope, I live away from Leicester but still a season ticket holder. So haven't been with any city fans until today when my boss came back in to work. Will be Saturday I think when i'm with my mates and my parents and brother!
Xen Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 My dissertation is due in tomorrow, so I honestly haven't even tried to comprehend what happened on Monday night yet. Like, I know we've won it, but it almost doesn't feel like its real because I've not been able to sit down and just think about it for a bit. I genuinely don't know if it'll ever sink in. When I started properly supporting the club when I was about 10 (had little interest in football before, but had been to a few matches) I never in my wildest dreams imagined we'd win anything significant. I'd been told about the O'Neil years, and those achievements have always been what I hoped for the club to achieve again - top half prem finishes, cup runs and nothing much more than that. For us to not only reach that level but surpass it beyond everyone's wildest imaginations, especially so soon after it seemed like the status quo of Leicester being a yo-yo club would be maintained middle of last season, is truly astonishing. It isn't real. It cant be real. But it is. And its magical.
FrankieADZ Posted 4 May 2016 Posted 4 May 2016 no yet, it will probably do once saturday comes around
englebert Posted 14 September 2016 Posted 14 September 2016 Seriously, it hadn't sunk in yet but I think it's finally happening now.
