StanSP Posted 23 June 2016 Posted 23 June 2016 I know our first game is the champions v a newly promoted team but surely there's much better opening day fixtures to show. I'm sure not many neutrals want to watch us v Hull. but it's the Champions. Their first game is almost always shown on TV.
Footballwipe Posted 23 June 2016 Posted 23 June 2016 but it's the Champions. Their first game is almost always shown on TV. Exactly. Everyone will want us knocked off the pedestal. Losing to Hull would make everyone laugh, make everyone doubt us and be highly entertaining for all who are jealous. Plus it's in their interests to top-load Leicester in the early part of the season. If we're somehow mediocre then we won't get shown much from November onwards. Stack us early so they can ease off if we are terrible.

fuchsntf Posted 23 June 2016 Posted 23 June 2016 I dont like BT coverage...when I have seen it. Plus in Germany I dont get BT..(wont pay the extra) When not live, quite happy with MOTD , Match choice Sky, and Goals on Sunday Sky. Its sad now, with the 'club Membership and its organisation'. So I doubt in the next 2 years if I will ever get to see a live game at the KP.Even chosen away games may now be impossible. That said, the idea of club membership I am not against, I am more angry for the Leicester fans who have membership, but still cant get tickets.. I suppose a ground extension or new build for 40k plus is on the cards, but cant see it being decided completed within next 24months. So on any TV many of us will be depending...
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 23 June 2016 Posted 23 June 2016 Prediction of live games for first 14 weeks from someone on another forum who studies the TV picks in depth. Hull - 12:30 Sat (Sky) Arsenal- 20:00 Mon (Sky) Liverpool- 12:30 Sat (Sky) Man Utd- 12:30 Sat (Sky) Southampton- 17:30 Sat (BT) Chelsea- 17:30 Sat (BT) Tottenham- 16:00 Sun (Sky) Middlesbrough- 14:15 Sun (Sky) If that's how the fixtures actually were that would be alright tbh, i'm not fussed as long as they stay on the Saturday, I agree you can't beat 3PM on Saturday but if asked for an alternative Saturday early over late Sunday imo.
promised land Posted 23 June 2016 Posted 23 June 2016 No BT have the late games now at 5:30 on saturdays So that's the only real difference to now, Sky get the early Saturday game, bt the evening one. Other than that and package F, it's the same.
