Hitesh Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Any news on when these will be announced? Will update this post (request assistance from Mods!) as and when they are confirmed through the season
jammie82uk Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Too early close thread Would actually be handy to have a sticky thread with the TV fixtures will hopefully stop various threads asking for TV fixtures happening at various points in the season
DB11 Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Would actually be handy to have a sticky thread with the TV fixtures will hopefully stop various threads asking for TV fixtures happening at various points in the season I always use this website anyway http://www.live-footballontv.com/
Fox92 Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 I can see several of ours getting moved. Don't Sky always show the Champions first as well? I recall Chelsea v Swansea being on last season, which isn't exactly an appealing game. But we've got Manchester United away, Chelsea away, Liverpool away and Spurs away all within the first two months so there's no chance of all them being a Saturday. I imagine Spurs will definitely be moved, probably both games exactly, we know how Sky like to build up what's happened previously. This Friday night thing is shite though. We're all literally going to have to book half a day off work just to go to an away game on a Friday. Shocking.
Staffs Fox Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 We'll be on a hell of a lot next season, it's the price of being good, I have a wedding on the 20th August and my Mrs is less than impressed when I said I didn't know if the game will be moved to Friday Night, Saturday Lunch, Saturday Evening, Sunday or Monday!! When you put it like that, the amount of options is ridiculous now
Ian W LCFC Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Will BT still have just the 12:45 kick off on a Saturday, and the occasional weekday game?

lestajigs Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Hope we get a few of these. Always like Friday night games
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Will BT still have just the 12:45 kick off on a Saturday, and the occasional weekday game? No BT have the late games now at 5:30 on saturdays
StanSP Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 For the opening weekend, I think it'll be: Friday or Monday: Bournemouth vs Utd Saturday Arsenal vs Liverpool Hull vs Leicester Sunday: Chelsea vs West Ham Everton vs Spurs
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 For the opening weekend, I think it'll be: Friday or Monday: Bournemouth vs Utd Saturday Arsenal vs Liverpool Hull vs Leicester Sunday: Chelsea vs West Ham Everton vs Spurs Would take the Saturday early game, hope it's that as if it's the late game there's no trains back when the game finishes.
StanSP Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Would take the Saturday early game, hope it's that as if it's the late game there's no trains back when the game finishes. guaranteed Sky pick that then
Guest Papasmurf Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 For the opening weekend, I think it'll be: Friday or Monday: Bournemouth vs Utd Saturday Arsenal vs Liverpool Hull vs Leicester Sunday: Chelsea vs West Ham Everton vs Spurs There won't be 5 games on tv surely?
StanSP Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 There won't be 5 games on to surely? I wouldn't put it past Sky/BT to do so.
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 guaranteed Sky pick that then Wouldn't surprise me, it's like Sunderland last season, no trains got in until 15 minutes after KO, It's almost as if they give no thought into the process.
jammie82uk Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 No BT have the late games now at 5:30 on saturdays BT can if they choose to have 12:30 Saturday kickoffs
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 BT can if they choose to have 12:30 Saturday kickoffs But sky have the first picks for 12:30 so they'd surely pick to show a big game on the lunchtime KO which is probably one of the most popular viewing times
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 Wouldn't surprise me, it's like Sunderland last season, no trains got in until 15 minutes after KO, It's almost as if they give no thought into the process. Of course they don't, it's just about their viewing numbers isn't it.
jammie82uk Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 But sky have the first picks for 12:30 so they'd surely pick to show a big game on the lunchtime KO which is probably one of the most popular viewing times I'm not saying that BT will but they have the option to show them at that time if they so wish, I was just replying to you as what you said was incorrect
Footballwipe Posted 23 June 2016 Posted 23 June 2016 Prediction of live games for first 14 weeks from someone on another forum who studies the TV picks in depth. Hull - 12:30 Sat (Sky) Arsenal- 20:00 Mon (Sky) Liverpool- 12:30 Sat (Sky) Man Utd- 12:30 Sat (Sky) Southampton- 17:30 Sat (BT) Chelsea- 17:30 Sat (BT) Tottenham- 16:00 Sun (Sky) Middlesbrough- 14:15 Sun (Sky)
Guest Papasmurf Posted 23 June 2016 Posted 23 June 2016 I know our first game is the champions v a newly promoted team but surely there's much better opening day fixtures to show. I'm sure not many neutrals want to watch us v Hull.
