Guest Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 I seem to be banned from the politics thread. When this happens is it possible to be informed of the reason? Is there a limit to the length of these bans or am I not allowed to discuss politics ever again on FT? Thanks.
Guest Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 What sort of things were you posting? Nothing worth getting banned for IMHO. You can check, I can't.

(apparently)
katieakita Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Had a quick look in the Labour party turmoil thread and on a personal note the only thing I could offensive is mention of the Lib/Dems improving their standings. After their running of the Postal services during the coalition I would not trust them to run a bath, maybe after the JFSA class action is settled and the criminal charges that follow are concluded I might forgive. Though regarding your postings It seems harsh imvho at first glance.
katieakita Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Probably for trying to wind up some posters. Surely anyone with a different political view to yourself could be considered to be doing that.
Wymsey Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Surely anyone with a different political view to yourself could be considered to be doing that. Don't have much view either way, hence never posted in that thread.
DB11 Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 There's hundreds of politics threads I'm sure you can't be banned from them all, and if you are there'll probably be another 10 threads on politics by the end of the day anyway
m4DD0gg Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Probably for voting leave. That sort of thing is not tolerated on this site.
purpleronnie Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Probably for voting leave. That sort of thing is not tolerated on this site. Yeah right.
Webbo Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Probably for voting leave. That sort of thing is not tolerated on this site. Have actually read any of the threads?
Guest Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Probably for trying to wind up some posters. I've not tried to wind up anyone. If you're talking about JTF then I'd have thought he'd have a lifetime ban for winding up and insulting a number of posters.
Guest Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Have actually read any of the threads? So Webbo, any answers for me?
Webbo Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 So Webbo, any answers for me? I'll see what I can find out, but I doubt anything will change.
Guest Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 I'll see what I can find out, but I doubt anything will change. Cheers. I don't expect change, just hope to understand.
ScouseFox Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Probably for voting leave. That sort of thing is not tolerated on this site. quite right too
Webbo Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 Cheers. I don't expect change, just hope to understand. It's been lifted now.

katieakita Posted 3 July 2016 Posted 3 July 2016 your humbleness and continued shying away from deserved credit is what gets you so many fans webbz, you're the ngolo kante of mods Does this mean Arsenal will put a bid in for Webbo to run their fans forum.
Soar Fox Posted 4 July 2016 Posted 4 July 2016 Sounds like if it was up to Webbo you would have stayed banned FIF.
