The two teams I expect to do significantly well are Liverpool and Spurs. Arsenal have a stability but, for me, no sense of going places. Everton now have a capable manager and have enough backing to not have to sell key players (unless they wish to go). They've poached Steve Walsh but it will take them time to bed-in together. I agree about Guardiola and I have a feeling that Mourinho is a 'busted flush' - all his hype may not work for him at United. They appear to be a poisoned chalice of a club - waiting for another Busby or Ferguson to eventually turn up and making do in the meantime. Chelsea have acquired an exceptional player but one swallow doesn't make a summer. They still have developmental work to do. Bilic is an impressive manager who's already moulded an effective unit...and kept Payet from the pick-pockets mooching around the club. As for City - I don't think the attack could be much more effective than last season and I don't think the loss of Kante means the flood gates will open to allow opposing forwards free rein. Ranieri has enough of a squad now to experiment with very different set-ups - he has lost a significant player but gained a bus-load of fresh players. I think he's going to have to tinker in order to find a formation that supersedes the Kante set-up. It might be the opportunity needed to dramatically change things around. Going to be interesting to see what exactly happens Thanks, just thought I'd throw in a little prediction at the end. The more I thought about each team, I got think what might happen. But this season, with so many vaiables could go any way.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Starting 11 worse at the minute squad better generally
foxy boxing Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 we've only lost kante and added a number of players so we should be stronger but time will tell all we have lost is probably the best tackler in the league, we still have and added to the pace of the team and have more strength in depth
HighPeakFox Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Kante was the player I dreaded losing most, and he will be the hardest to compensate for.
AyewJoking Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 logically we should be stronger but the loss of kante is like having your penis removed, he was small but had so many uses and the body cant function without him.

Wouldn't you just sit down to pee instead of standing up. As such, we can still function, we just need to change our strategy to achieve the same results.
