Campbell is a good player...Wouldn't mind him here on the cheap when Wenger eventually discards him. But Dost and Castaignos are very streaky strikers....With Castaignos previously failing at bigger clubs. Have you not invested in more rounded central players to replace adrien and mario?

Adrien is apparently being replaced by Elias, a brazilan international that was here a few years ago. Good midfielder, but problematic character. As for Joao Mario, like flea said, we have Gelson Martins. Plus, we're kind of known for our attacking midfielders. We'll be fine.

But surely you are weaker in Europe? Slimani, adrien and mario ard all better than the guys you've bought in imo. Although is that Rafa from braga? He might have the best chance of replacing out of the three.

Considering we're grouped with Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, our chances of getting to the round of 16 are already slim.

Yes, that Rafa. He's Sportinguista, always has been. Of course we wouldn't get replacements that are better than Slimani, Adrien and Jomi. But we have more options, all of them more than good enough for our league. Our first eleven might be somewhat weaker but we have more quality on the bench. Last year we didn't have many valid options wiating to be subbed in.

Yes it's Rafa from Braga, allegedly a Sportinguista (could be important as Benfica is also looking to sigh him up)

If this happens you may as well just become Leicester fans, our starting 11 could be 18.181818% Sporting Lisbon

I hope you guys really take care of Slimani and Adrien. I mean it. :)

Kasper Schmeichel played for Sporting too (when he was 13).

Although I don't think he actually played in our youth teams. He played in Estoril, it was closer to where they lived and his school.

Great pic! Sometimes I wish I wasn't born when I was... This time I wish it had been ten years earlier! Just to see one of the most iconic keepers of all time playing for my club.

I think our fans should remember how we felt when Kante left, your fans show a greater amount of humility at least you will hopefully get what you feel the players are worth.

I shall leave you with this souvenir of your time here
