GaelicFox Posted 5 September 2016 Posted 5 September 2016 Wanted to start a tread for this as this kid is seriously seriously talented. 20yo Reuben Arrowsmith from market harborough is now an undefeated professional 7 wins from 7 fights. I was at Walsall football club on Friday night for the next chapter in the Sensational rise of Reuben the super welterweight fight was a scheduled 6 round contest against a tough south paw polish fighter Marcin Cybulski. Arrowsmith started round 1 fantastically well , showing very impressive hand speed and accuracy to cause his brave Polish opponent a great deal of discomfort. The round was easily won by Reuben on all the judges cards . In the 2nd round Arrowsmith showed his class by varying his shots and upping the work rate to eventually over power his opponent leaving the referee with no choice but to step in and end the contest , scoring Arrowsmith is 2nd consecutive stoppage. his hand speed is frightening , and once he matures and powers up he will surely be looking at English and British titles before too long. Arrowsmith is under the Management of Former superstar world champion Ricky Hatton and after this fight Ricky told us he is looking to move The harborough fighter to the next level and get him fights at national championship levels, right now the future looks very very bright for our local warrior. Reuben will be fighting again in November if you can come along all support is welcome , we had a fantastic after show party on the Grovenor Casino in Birmingham and anyone is welcome to hook up on those nights.
