  2. never going to happen but I'd exclude VAR from being in use from corners. in their definition of a 'foul' there would likely be 5 or 6 fouls from every corner that will go completely unpunished until VAR makes a game changing call like it did yesterday. at which point everybody piles on to it, showing examples of why 10 other goals should have been disallowed. leave corners to refs initial discretion. not taking 10 minutes to decide if something is a foul when there is 5 other fouls that are arguably worse in the same play
  3. Definitely in my top 5 city players of all time. In his prime he was definitely the best Rb in the prem. Legs have definitely gone and its the right time for him to move on, but nothing but love for Ricky.
  4. I'd be interested to know how many goals we have scored that were inside the box. as we do seem to score a disproportionate amount of wonder goals & individual brilliance rather than good team play.
  5. If the worse were to happen and we went down from League 1. which of current crop of players would still be here? tldr: i'd guess only BDCR, Souttar, Hamza, Vestergaard, Page (maybe), Begovic, Thomas, Aluko & some returning loans would still be here Jakub Stolarczyk - Someone in the champ would pick him up for peanuts Ben Nelson - last year of his contract, would likely go top end champ or bottom prem as potential. Caleb Okoli - loaned back to italy Jordan James (on loan from Rennes) - bye bye JJ Abdul Fatawu - 100% sold Harry Winks - Free Jordan Ayew - Free (thank god) Stephy Mavididi - would be sold but haven't got a clue where Dujuan Richards (on loan from Chelsea) - loan expiring Fran Vieites - is this guy even real? Bobby De Cordova-Reid - Can imagine he'd stay Harry Souttar - nobody would take him due to injuries, so he'd be here Victor Kristiansen - would be loaned out to someone Hamza Choudhury - staying as nobody is paying the wages Joe Aribo (on loan from Southampton) - sent back Patson Daka - Free Ricardo Pereira (captain) - Free Oliver Skipp - a champ team would come in for him i'd imagine Jannik Vestergaard - would stay to see out the final year of his contract Jamaal Lascelles - we couldn't afford the wages Louis Page - He'd stay i reckon Wanya Marçal - staying Jeremy Monga - sold Divine Mukasa (on loan from Manchester City) - loan expiring Aaron Ramsey (on loan from Burnley) - loan expiring Asmir Begović - i'd imagine would stay & become a coach Luke Thomas - in the words of Leo Dicaprio - "I aint ****in leavin" Michael Golding - stay Silko Thomas - stay Olabade Aluko - stay would also have Evans, Braybrooke and Alves to come back into the squad.
  6. Same for me, cant seem to find it anywhere if you could dm me any channel its on.
  7. Daka probably has a pet fish or something like that, so can probably add his name
  8. The next appointment is absolutely key now. I think we just need that interim fire fighter (old school, Dyche/Pearson type) manager to get us to the end of the season, as the squad this year will look completely different to the squad next year.
  9. you missed the best, most descriptive part..... TWAT
  10. Looking at that list, i wonder at what point Top took over the club......
  11. Think he'll struggle to sign the contract with the way he's holding the pen
  12. The fact that we didn't activate the option on JJ on the 1st Jan, shows you exactly how much money we have spare this window. like others have said, it'll be a deadline day panic loan for a washed up/rubbish striker
  13. Nobody would have gave a toss about how ugly cooper was if he had done stuff right. the football was absolute turgid, and we were only heading in one direction and we all knew it. During his tenure, we had 115 shots with an xg of 11.74 (3.1 of that was against southampton), and faced 228 shots with an xg of 22.8. Fatawu wasn't injured at the start of the season. he was fully available for the first 11 matches, of which he played the full 90 in 5 of those (1st 2 & last 3 matches). the 6 inbetween he played a total of 129 minutes. if a manager comes in whos tactics are dreadful, battered in nearly every game. signings are woeful (well documented he wanted prem experience), team selections are baffling (fatawu, ricardo, bilal) then i don't think it really matters if his face is a bit mashed up. He's getting sacked either way. just unfortunate that the replacement was also completely inept.
  14. Meh, a new keeper is bottom of the priority list for us.
  15. Yes... definitely wouldn't notice if we drop the player with the most assists for us (5, next is 2) and our 2nd top scorer. Fatawu has dropped off the boil a bit recently, but lets not pretend he still isn't an absolute key player for us. I'm sure his drop off from form isn't anything to do with teams quickly realising if you stop him, you stop us.
  16. I don't pay too much attention to Serie A, but has Vardy had that much of an impact?
  17. Only a club like us would be dumb enough to give Stolarczyk 2 contracts!! I presume his is expiring in 2027?
  18. only 11? Can we cram any into the boot on tied onto the roof just so a few more can piss off.
  19. From the 1st team I think; Ricardo, Winks, Ayew, Soumare & Daka
  20. KDB and VVD are a bit too old. we tried the Prem experience thing with Reid, Ayew, Edouard & Skipp and that hasn't gone to plan. Let's stick to the Argentinian wonderkids!
  21. giving up your season ticket and giving up on Leicester are two completely separate things. I gave up my season ticket along with my brother, but we still watch every single game and are heavily invested in Leicester as I always have been and always will be. Things are bad now and with little sign of improvement, but they are still my club in good times and in bad. I don't feel guilty in the slightest, as me going makes zero impact on Leicester. But for me, completely turning you back on Leicester and avoiding nearly every single thing football related is such an overreaction, and that's where your guilt would come from. literally turning your back on Leicester when the chips are down.
  22. highlights being available elsewhere, much quicker, with better/longer highlights in most cases. Plus the "Expert" analysis is getting worse and worse.
  23. Looking at list, maybe we should take a stab at that El Khannouss kid. he could do a job here...
  24. happy days. considering our most recent talents have been poached like Nyoni. Getting these players to actually agree to stay must show we have a clear plan for them, otherwise they would had been off.
