Someone's rattled.

lol, i'm afraid it is getting to that point. I swear 50% of this forum is ppl talking about stuff, and the other 50% is ppl telling us that their not interested in talking about this stuff. As if the internet is getting near capacity and we should really only talk about something we all agree is really, really important.

all sound like great threads too tbh

Don't know whether to be flattered or concerned by this

probably both. But due to my poor work ethic, the odds of me doing any worse than a few sarky replies is pretty slim. You can thank 20 years of sega genesis, microwave dinners and the benefits system for that. lol

don't often take one tbf cos i work bad hours in town, so usually people will have something exciting for tea or breakfast from somewhere in town so if i take a pretty average set of sandwiches n a bag of crisps i always feel a bit underwhelmed.

did make a pretty superb chicken chorizo cheese and chilli baguette the other day for work now you mention it though. salt n vinegar crisp obviously.

i had literally no idea this thread was about mk dons i thought we were in gen chat lol

Feel like that packed lunch thread didn't take off as much as it should have tbh

I should be upset about my profound and interesting thread being taken over in this fashion. But I've got my gold star, it's all good - you lads can do as you like.

People don't leave their packed lunches at work in the fridge in Milton Keynes for fear that some thieving git's going to come along and take it for themselves.

Justice is done - sport has won over money, spirit and ambition over greed and superficiality.

All that is left now is for Wimbledon to make their way further up, move into the new place, get the old crest back and show up in splendid kits like this fantasy one:

In reality I don't have too much animosity against MK Dons at this point. The franchising of football that started (and hopefully ended) with them was one of the worst things in football in the last 20 years. Scared the bejeebies out of all lower league and poorer clubs.  However, they did give back the trophies and the claim to Wimbledon's history, which was a big move at setting things straight.

The only thing I'd like to see them do at this point is give up the "Dons" part of their name. It's a bad reminder of move that shouldn't have been allowed. "MK Dons" sounds silly. And it leaves the good people of Milton Keynes forever living in the shadow of being that-club-that-was-stolen-from-wimbledon.  All winkleman really wanted was a league position anyway. Which you can't really take back (don't need to now) and is such a transitory thing anyhow. So if they switched their name to Milton Keynes FC, I'd be happy enough with that.

Really good post mate. Totally agree

I'm more of a packed breakfast guy myself, these days. I live so close to work I can go home for lunch.

But if I stick my weetabix in a tub and have it at work, I get another ten minutes in bed. Bliss.
