Time to back CR and the boys-We owe them

Recommended Posts

Yes I know we have had a shocking start to the season and yes the performances have not been good enough.

But....when times are hard..that is the time we need to stand behind our team with pride and back the boys and help pull them through this sticky patch.

What this team and CR gave us last year was amazing and I will now die a happy man! Leicester city won the league!!!

Now times are hard what do we do? Panic or summon every bit of blue blood up in our veins and back the boys to the hilt....Sing louder then we have ever sang before and help pull our team through.

For what they gave us last year do we not owe them at least that?

Keep the faith and get behind us like never before.

Foxes till I die.

Over 20k i estimate I've spent on watching Leicester over the years, and that will be pennies compared to some, I owe them nothing.

I'll get up and support them when I think they show enough desire and fight to deserve it. But when they quite clearly and visibly couldn't give a ****, I'll stick the boot in.

I'd find it a lot easier to get behind him if he'd at least try something different. I love the guy but I just can't understand why he's persisting with failing tactics.

Drop 442 and maybe I'll start to be less angry and more forgiving towards them. Right now as they don't seem to be bothered and earn in a week what it'd take me 6 years to earn I feel I can't back them as much as I'd like to.

I think they've got to take the rough with the smooth, like any team.

The players - they were worshipped last season but they can't complain if they're roundly booed if they're earning £100K a week and not putting in 100%. And they're not at the moment. Conversely, I'll always verbally get behind them if they're putting the work in, shit or not.

The manager - I've got to be honest and criticise him on here, tactically he seems to have lost the plot and his team selections are not changing despite the performances being abysmal. But I won't pick on him and call for him to go. He did a miraculous thing last season and he deserves more respect than that.

As always, all I expect is effort. Give effort, and I'm behind you. But if I'm paying to watch I expect effort. A lot of them are not trying hard enough and that disgusts me.

So if you have spend that money and time watching us over the years you will have seen much worse teams and performances that your seeing now.

You can't have it both ways if your a fan you a fan through thick and thin.

Tou can't have the glory days and then not give a flying f when we are loosing.

To say that professional footballers don't give a fu@k shows me how much you know about football. Do you not think they are just as frustrated and disappointed as us?

I owe them nothing. But after last season I'll defend them and continue to believe in them.

Indeed. His management has been poor this season but people saying "fvck off" and calling him "twat" and the like on the match thread - get a grip ffs.

You say they should take the tough with the smooth? Does that not apply to fans as well?

Agree to an extent but not with the last bit.

You're forgetting someone like Mahrez will probably still have some bigger clubs who would take him so he doesn't need to care.

And even if he doesn't, he's still financially set for life. It's a joke to suggest it's as important to them as it is to us.

And if you think they're putting in the effort this season, then you're completely wrong and need to rethink.

In what way?

Yes in terms of I expect Leicester to be shit sometimes. And I think fans should be vocally behind the players if they're doing well if they're going to boo when they're awful. I don't accept people just sitting there and then when something goes wrong they'll jump on the players' backs.

It doesn't excuse a lack of effort. Never. That's not acceptable.
