Silver or City Fox Membership?

Recommended Posts

Ok wondering if anyone can help...

With half the season gone im wondering about buying a membership but unsure which one to go for?

Gold membership has now been sold out, which leaves silver and city fox..

My question is weather the cheaper City Fox membership would be a waste of time?

Thanks

Hi,

I am a Gold Member and my son has a Silver Membership. We can normally get tickets for most matches either together or very near. However, I think a City Fox membership would be unwise as nearly all the tickets are sold after the Silver members have had their allocation. Hope this helps.

I'm a city fox member. Everton and West Ham made it to city foxes also Chelsea too

Thanks its a tough decision , £20 vs £70 lol

It is only 1 ticket per membership?

Do any of these get a chance to buy a season ticket, I know its slim but hopefully a few of the glory fans might of disappeared by now

Any more input please??

Thanks

Hi,

I'm a gold member, yes it is only one ticket per membership.

With regardss to season tickets-last year gold members were given the option of entering a ballot for a ST as only 304 were available. It depends on how many do not renew next season as to whether silver members get a chance-but I would imagine not.

Personally I think it depends how many games you want to attend and which ones. If you're not fussed about which games, city fox will probably get you a ticket for the 'lesser' teams but silver guarantees you a chance of a ticket for the likes of Liverpool etc. It also gives you a far greater chance of a champions league ticket I would imagine.

Hope that helps.

I've got a ST but I'm told the secret is to make sure that you're on the phone as soon as the ticket office (or LCFCDirect) opens on the day of sale. Stating the obvious but you'll have the best chance of gettings seats together if that's what you want. It's all about being organised

Upgraded to Silver last season which was pointless and back to city fox this year. It's fine if you want to go on your own and are quick. There are still good single seats dotted around but keep checking when they are due for sale.

Yes you can . We managed to buy Champions League tickets for the home games. I get all our tickets online as soon as they come on sale and don't normally have a problem.

I have only tried to get a ticket using my City Fox membership for the Boro game and was surprised when ringing up within half an hour of tickets going on sale to find only single tickets available (wanting to go with a mate who is also City Fox). On reflection, I guess the reason for this was that the Boro game wasn't on tv, therefore there was a relatively high demand for what would have appeared to be one of the less attractive fixtures. I'm hoping that (maybe) we will feature a bit less on tv and that demand will even out and allow my City Fox membership to become a bit more useful in the second half of the season.

Silver membership goes to single tickets pretty much straightaway. I can't imagine any two City fox members would get adjoining seats

Whilst CL games went down to general sale last time, I'd imagine there will be a much higher uptake from STH for the last 16 game, as its much later in the competition against a higher quality opposition, with the addition that people don't have the cost of three games at once. So you're taking your risk if you go city fox, although I guess it depends on how the club price the game if people want to go.

With regards to the opportunity to purchase a ST next season, it really depends on the renewal rate. Last season renewals was something like 98.7%, but that was with the lure of CL football and seeing them defend the title in the PL. I imagine the renewal rate will be around 90% this year so there might be a good opportunity for silver if all 6000 golds don't want the season ticket.

Nothing guaranteed. You might get lucky if you are quick but could be in the expensive West Stand seats. Always worth a check in here

Last season, when demand was higher than this season, I managed to get three seats together twice with city fox memberships (Stoke and Norwich) - might've just been lucky, but shows it is possible :)

Is the West stand more than the East stand?

Hmmm

I am thinking the silver one could be the better option

Would I be able to get home tickets for Leic v Sevilla? with the Silver? (If quick enough?) I presume these haven't gone on sale yet?

Depends on the uptake of STH and gold members. Also on the final selling criteria when released. I would say you are somewhat likely to get a ticket but cannot be guaranteed. As golds are sold out silver is your best chance at a ticket.
