When did we sign Jaap Stam

I really see no risk in throwing him in against Swansea. He played well against Derby and can even pass a ball!!

Don't care which one of Dad's Army he replaces. Give him another go Claudio

I don't think him knows I've ever thought he'd played badly in any of his apps for us. was solid again last night. seems to be genuinely decent every time he plays but for some reason that's never very often.

On the left, I really liked the combo of Benny on CD (left), Chilwell at LB and Gray at LW. They were slick and had a good understanding. Would like to see that Combo preserved.

If we still want to have hoofing in our locker we could revert to Morgan at CD (right), Simpson at RB and Albrighton on the RW...... or not.

he put in a really decent performance in what was probably his best game for the foxes, just needs to keep working on reading the English game and be more disciplined here than he is in Italy. he looked a lot more composed in possesion but against a better attack will not get as much time on the ball

was made to look better than he was by a poor derby side. Algo got caught on the ball a couple of times that could have led to goals. Gilfy sigurdson will give him problems.... having said that... he give huth and morgan hell on current form.

I've got to say his pace is refreshing.  Even when he mis-placed a few balls he was able to get back and sort it out.
His touch was very good.  He looked composed & confident.

Great to see us playing out from the back more too.  There was still a bit of hoof ball, but a lot less last night.

I'd definitely start him.

Fuchs, Morgan, Benny, Simpson this weekend. One of Huth / Morgan has to go, and I don't think it'll be Huth. Chilwell is getting way overhyped; he's decent going forward, but had a torrid time at the back against a terrible Derby attack. Amartey is great but not as a right back - Simpson will come back in for him.

Both have to be dropped. Whatever the hype about Chilwell, one is sure: Fuchs is no better than him. Chiwell might be a bit lightweight in the duels, his positioning good and improving and he brings offensively more than Fuchs. To start.

He did well. The Premier league is another matter though. Still want him to start against Swansea. Sick of the hoofers.

I was impressed with his reading of the game and positioning. Regardless of the opposition you need those basics and people like John Terry made a career on it. Benny was excellent on the ball as well and things seemed less rushed with him in there. I really hope he starts with Wes on Sunday. He seems to be over the injuries that messed up his loan to Fiorentina and the start of this season. Back injuries can be a nightmare but if he is over that I reckon he can make a contribution to our squad or even team up until the end of the season. It feels like we bought two defenders on deadline day lol
