Fuchs is enamored with the NFL and wants to be a place-kicker so he knows about the tradition of the "Gatorade bath" being dumped on coaches after winning big games- Superbowls, championships, rival teams etc... and that was Fuchs version of it. Here's a good story about the tradition. http://dailynightly.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/02/02/16821617-the-gatorade-shower-an-enduring-symbol-of-athletic-victory
Wymsey Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 He just says the same thing over and over again. About time Morgan, as captain, should do the interviews now - so he can explain his poor displays and the team's he leads current poor confidence.

You are too stubborn, too hurt to accept that these players aren't giving their all for this club, nor do they need to be managed correctly to give their all for the club. That is something that every player has control of and there is never any excuse for not giving their all. How can it not be the players' fault when they're the ones supposed to be playing the actual football. And when you know, as individuals, their form has dipped catastrophically to an extent we've never seen before. Quite clearly, they are to blame for their own individual performances. I'm not going to go into your ludicrous notion that Ranieri can't take credit for last season or that the players managed themselves for one season but conveniently not this season (honestly are you living in a fantasy land?), because it's just so stupid and I'm tired of going over the reasons why idiots like you are wrong. I don't follow your posts but I assume you're one of those tools that thinks Pearson should be sent Claudio's championship medal despite the fact he had us bottom for 6 months and didn't realise Vardy was supposed to play centre forward (much like Roy Hodgson). Regardless of the outcome of this season comments like yours will make you forever vilified whenever you express them, and rightly so
Kaewbudda Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Agree. Only Ranieri could have won us the league. But the problem is, that Italian approach to the game which got us over the finish line last year is the very reason why the goals have dried up and we're not making any chances. Ranieri needs to try and get the team playing how they were in the first half of last season and at the end of 14/15... I guess what drives most of us mad is that he is doing the same thing every week. I hope the Swansea defeat prompts a change in players and tactics.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Are the owners simply going to sit back and hope that the man who has not been able to get us right all season, is somehow going to achieve it now? I made the point about a fortnight ago...what are the owners doing? They surely are not going to apathetically watch us continue in this vein. It's so infuriating watching us throw it all away and nobody seems to be doing anything about it other than to allow Ranieri to laugh in post match interviews and bleat on about us 'fighting' Its hard to believe this,it really is.

They wouldn’t have done it to Sir Alex Ferguson or Fabio Capello, two of the names Ranieri drops in conversation when he talks about the greats of modern management. These are the men he has strived all his professional career to emulate and now he will at last be mentioned in the same sentence. So respect is due. A little more respect than he was shown on Saturday, perhaps." martin Samuel
evostic Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 I imagine there would be a massive loss of face with the owners should they make Ranieri redundant. I imagine they're trying to have as much influence as they can themselves with the players, but obviously not working. The "B Team" however will beat Millwall, be empowered and do one on Seville, and paste Liverpool thereafter. AmenSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ranieri may not have understood at the time but I'm quite sure given the explanation he was ok with it. And as for Ferguson I think he would have absolutely been delighted. It's celebratory, passion, excitement; all the things you want from your players no?
Hawk17 Posted 14 February 2017 Posted 14 February 2017 How many managers/coaches across world sport completely genuinely refer to their players as "my sons"? Echoing the sentiment of many here by saying Ranieri is truly a beautiful human being, who brought something unthinkable to Leicester and shocked the world. I'm sitting here as a new Leicester fan typing this in Melbourne for gods sake, and I can tell you that myself and many more wouldn't have the slightest clue about Leicester if it wasn't for Claudio. I watch a mountain of sport but have never heard a single coach refer to his players with as much genuine care as Claudio Ranieri, so it is truly ****ing heartbreaking to not see a level of care rarely seen by any coach in world sport not rewarded by the players.. I like many others believe the situation is a mirror image of Mourinho at Chelsea and that Claudio needs to go, but be allowed to resign and be congratulated and regarded with the absolute highest levels of respect for the rest of his days. But it looks like we've got Claudio whether we like it or not for the rest of the season and we've all agreed that we sure as hell owe the guy one for last season. So yeah this season sucks and its beyond aggravating, but the guy who brought us the ****ing league trophy needs help. So if you can go to the KP or an away game, go and register on the Richter scale again. Fans play a role in a teams performance without question and we have the fans here that can nearly cause a bloody earthquake, so lets ****ing do it cause it might be a while before the Premier League unfortunately, so lets go down as loud as bloody possible because even if the players don't care, we all do. I cant wait to join you all there in the future. I'm proud to be a new Fox.
