You know what Col I've had enough

ive literally been trying to force myself (and others) to be positive for these last few games (well around half a season) and I've had enough, something needs to change

Something positive and quick

I've always been with you mate, that the players are the ones letting the club down. Of course they are..by and large they've been crap. Where I've disagreed with you is on whether Claudio is the man to turn them around and to get them playing again. I don't think he is. I think some of us have probably had it right all along..he's Sven II.....he's too nice, too soft and the players have taken the piss.

Why we need a change now is because we must get a nasty bar steward in to give them an ultimatum. Either play for the club, or sod off.

I simply don't think the players respect Ranieri anymore. Nor would I to be honest if I saw him coming out defending me, week in, week out when I knew what I really needed was a major bollocking. I'd laugh.

Never been so conflicted in my football fan career. Love the guy and I'm so pissed off with the players who have left him out to dry, but then when he picks the same old shit it's so hard to feel sorry for him.

Not only the players that have let him down. Rudkin should fall on his sword as well.

Keep refreshing NewsNow but he still here lol

I don't see him being asked our owner has just said he is safe. I for one don't think our owner will go back on that.

The only way he goes is if he walks and he will want to tell the owners face to face.

Look we let one goal in against burnley and two against swansea... not ideal.  But in neither match did we score at the other end.  Its creating and finishing that is the biggest problem.

I know we all feel that the back four needs a spingclean.... but its the failure to score that worries me most

Basic manager remit

don't lose every game and look like the team will never score

dinosaur out of his depth

This is just as fvcking stupid as CR picking the same sh1t back four to save us and him.

The writing was on the wall when Fuchs covered him twice in Champagne, probably a lovely old bloke, but doesn't command respect and the players probably feel above him

I can't sum up my thoughts any better than that. This whole fiasco is heartbreaking.

I know Col

just personally find it wrong, my general belief in life is that is someone sticks up for you or fights your corner (even when not right to do so) in my books deserves support and thanks not to be treated the way the players have

total disgrace

Ranners has made mistakes, clearly he has but he has also been dramatically let down by the people the very people he has been loyal to

im a loyal person, without wanting to sound over the top, but I would die and I mean genuinely die for the people and the errm situations I find myself in both personally and professionally but this lot are gutless turds

fecking fed up of it

We've seen what the power of positivity can do. It's now the time we need to all unite behind Claudio and pay him back for the ultimate gift he gave us last season.

Chin up Claudio.

Beautiful statement

Agree. Players are definitely bigger than the manager atm.

I know Fuchs did that for his own exposure anyway. The guy is so busy trying to 'go viral' and sell his awful clothes.

No one can deny he's a top bloke and seeing him so helpless is heartbreaking, but as others have said our team is more important then any one person. He's had months to change it. You could see in pre season we needed a change in tactics and personnel. Then as the season progressed and we started getting smashed by teams, this change became critical. Claudio didn't do anything and just hoped, and he's been hoping ever since. We aren't a skillful team, therefore we need to become a nasty one that leaves their foot in and makes the centre of the park a battlefield. At the moment we're to easy to play against with our players escorting the opposition into our penalty area without making a tackle. Our tackle stats are diabolical. Can he do this, I very much doubt it.

Beautiful statement

it is indeed. But it won't do. Last season is gone and will never be forgotten and we are all in CR's debt.

BUT...it is clear he has no plan to stop the spiral towards the Championship. Yes much of this is the fault of the players who are clearly not prepared to put in a shift for him. But if can not manage/cajole/instruct/inspire them to do so, then he should step down - and be allowed to do so with as much dignity as possible.

Ranieri has admitted he may have been too loyal to the "established" players. He's now let his feelings out of the bag so changes will have to happen now.

Glad he's finally said it.
