EGBFitness Posted 20 February 2017 Posted 20 February 2017 Thinking about it, it probably explains why the club are in the position we are in now as adding relegation wage clauses seems odd to include for a team just named champions of the premier league!? We are talking about the benefits of players having a 40% wage decrease but you've got to remember how poor this club is with regards to negotiating... players get 40% wage drop with relegation but the likes of Mahrez, Ndidi, Kasper, Grey, Slimani, even Vardy (basically anyone with a value to the club) probably have a £5m relegation release clause in their contract
