Without a league goal in 2 months we have 8 goals in the last three big games. All that says is the team has a freedom it had lost and without doubt with the style of football coupled to no fight and no skill Leicester City were doomed. So good call by the owners and I personally think we have alongside possibly with Bournemouth the best owners in the league. Someone throw them a doughnut and a beer.

Souness is a chuffing idiot - he was saying that the team had the same formation, same training, same everything as last season under Ranieiri when they clearly did not, for example not having a psychologist!

We had the worst form of all 92 league clubs for 2017. Since the sacking we have the best. The outcry has been ridiculous. This sort of thing where players are not performing for a manager but will for another, happens all the time in football. Most notably Jose at Chelsea last year but it is common. I hope the pundits feel stupid now. How dare they presume to know what goes on in our dressing room? The things said about Shakespeare have been unforgiveable and no one stopped to question for a moment whether the blame laid with CR. And how dare they expect us to meekly accept relegation just to keep CR in a job. As if they would if it were their club. Finally, and I've said it before, the sacking is the best thing that could have happened for Ranieri. We were heading toward relegation like a speeding bullet. I now expect Shakespeare to keep us up given the last three performances and this will keep Ranieri's legacy intact. Otherwise he would always be known as the man who won the league with Leicester then took them straight down.

Every great performance confirms their suspicions that the players are despicable knife wielding snakes, and every loss is karma. The football world moves on, and when we're no longer a big story no-one will care nor remember, but whilst we ride this wave people will continue to stick their opinions where they are not wanted. Best all round to ignore it in its entirety.

Soar Fox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Just a shame they hadn't done it around November time. I said after Middlesbrough at home that late penalty we got was papering over the cracks. We wouldn't have been competing for the title again but we would have comfortably have been top half had we got rid sooner.
