Top scoring midfielders PL Record: P70Goals 5Assists 1 I thought you said he was a bit part player in our purple patch, 23.3 per season says he played a significant part. His goal against West ham that started the great escape proves how valuable he has been.

He would bench Drinkwater for a period. Thsts the point I'm trying to get across. But fair enough, we have differences of opinions and I respect that Sol's issue is that you're using the word trust. I'd imagine that Shakey would trust Kingy with his kids, let alone a football game. King might not be able to do some of the things with a football that Drinkwater does, but you can bet your last penny that King would try his hardest, give his all for the cause and make sure that the gap in ability isn't exploited by the opposition.
HighPeakFox Posted 9 May 2017 Posted 9 May 2017 I see @Koke 's point here too, for the record. I'm no great fan of King either, but in this day of ego, players throwing toys out of prams and general childishness, King must be highly trusted to behave like a grown man and NOT kick off because he's forever the substitute. Players like these are to be highly valued.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 9 May 2017 Posted 9 May 2017 Did Conrad Logan ever get a testimonial? He surely deserved one! And purely for shiits and giggles he should've remained on the bench for it...
