Wymsey Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Conrad Logan didn't have anything, so doubt it this year. But he deserves credit, has rarely let the team down and is often under-rated.
Bielsibub1 Posted 7 May 2017 Author Posted 7 May 2017 He'll struggle to be a regular first team player next season in my honest opinion, once everyone's fit and new recruits are bought in. miracle for a player to have stayed for ten years - fair play to him.
Poznan34 Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 First season was 07/08, so maybe we're waiting until he's done 10 full seasons?
Sir Shep Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 He does deserve one that's for sure, but without trying to sound mean, I doubt many will attend it.
fazzyfox Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 It's been a long time since the last one, Walshy perhaps, but I believe you have a year of events including a golf day, a formal meal and then a match, usually involving an organising committee including the player and perhaps the club captain, PFA rep and the likes of Birch and the club secretary. For the match you could bring back players from his debut season but it would be a huge mis-match, however coming just a year after the league win and considering how well we did in europe how about the current squad plus Kante (Schwarzer, Inler, Moore etc if it's to be the 15/16 squad) against anyone he fancies taking on, possibly Wales with him playing a half for each, possibly Real Madrid if he has Bale's support or following the complements from Simeone a rematch with Athletico but this time with a referee who hasn't been bought!
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Wasn't what his subs appearance against Watford was about?
urban.spaceman Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Walshy's at Filbert St was brilliant - can't believe it's 20 years!

fazzyfox Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Just realised, my suggestion that we're represented by the title winning SIDE would mean he sits out his own testimonial! It's like the joke about Conrad being on the bench if he had a testimonial! Maybe play first half instead of Drinky then switch to opponents (Wales XI or ex players) for second half. Sorry Kingy, lucky I'm not on the organising committee.

Bert Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 I think it would be a Kingy XI against this current Leicester side. Half on each team for King.
HybridFox Posted 7 May 2017 Posted 7 May 2017 Ranieri Select XI vs Pearson's All Stars Let the carnage begin
filthyfox Posted 8 May 2017 Posted 8 May 2017 I might even travel up for that one. Kingys one of my faves

Andy you need to go ask the owners. If it was up to the forum some would say yes some would kick you in the bollox. I for one will thank you for your service. Now either totter off back to training. If that's over don't you have some medals to polish?
