Video: The Season That Was

Following up from my last video, given a majority of people weren't too content with the audio selection i've managed to find spare time to put together a season review that hopefully a majority of supporters will enjoy.

 

it's been a very odd season start to finish, a loss to a depleted Hull City away on the opening day, followed by a point against Arsenal at home the following fixture. The season only got stranger, plucking away points in the Champions League group stage and advancing through despite poor results in the Premier League.

 

Poor results in the League and FA Cup eventually saw a shock dismissal of Claudio Ranieri just hours after an honourable loss to Seville away in the Champions League.

In came our caretaker, Craig Shakespeare, and a second leg Champions League comeback in the Round of 16 against Seville saw us advance through to the Quarter Finals with a meeting with Atletico Madrid. Needs to be said also we were the final English Club remaining. An achievement itself to go with the best Champions League start for any English Club.

Results in the Premier League took a turn for the best as the Club found a formula to win and is now safe from relegation after a relegation scare earlier on.

 

This was our rollercoaster season, one we will never forget, this is the season that was.

Happy to have gotten the video right the second time

Turns out the song I've used, which was released five days ago, is expected to debut at #2 on the charts so you'll be hearing it more often on the radio.

When you do you'll think of Leicester City and the incredible season we've had.

Not one we'll ever forget!
