Fair to say. Could say it's Leicester-Forest happening every week, but then people couldn't get enough of Federer-Nadal when it seemed to happen every single Grand Slam tournament.

This is different because we see it quite literally every week in them prem (as supposed to once every few months in a grand slam).

TBF I'm with you in that the Prem format means this matchup gets thrown up an awful lot and that can certainly get wearing.

But of course the PDC have to have their money-spinners.

Comes to something when that's classed as a low quality meeting between those two lol

Glad Humphries won. Really like him, even if he is a Leeds fan

Going to be a great rivalry between the two .

Before the break it was pretty poor given the high bar the two have set.

Second half felt like it were back to its free flowing best. Although the draft seemed to really annoy both of them.

If that Littler 170 went in when it was 9-8, he would've won it 100%

I don't get the vibe that Humphries will be around too long in the game. Would be a massive shame though

Humphries is just so difficult to beat.  He always seems to find that turbo scoring in the latter stages of a match.

He looked laser focused in that second half. He's a scoring machine

Anyone gonna be watching the world cup this weekend?

I think the bookies odds are about spot on with England 1/2 to win and Wales 9/2 to win

Group stages kick off this evening, should be a fun watch.

Thanks for the reminder!  I quite like watching Belgium play as Huybrechts and Van den Bergh are very much the odd couple.  I don't think Huybrechts likes him very much!

Does Huybrechts like anyone? lol

Closest thing I can see to a "shock" tonight might be Lithuania to beat Sweden in the first round. I'm mainly basing this on the performances last week in the Nordics. Would feel much more confident for them if Harryson as playing as he's been on fine form recently.

Tbf, Van De Bergh can be a bit cringe! Oh pity, it’s De Decker in for Huybrechts anyway.  England should walk this, I could see Germany doing well.  No MVG?

I thought Van den bergh had taken an indefinite break a month or two ago. Maybe just back for the WC

MVG has taken a break, him and missus have split up after 11 years, which definitely explains why he's looked terrible most of this year. I imagine he wanted to see through the Prem commitments and then take a break.

I'm looking forward to Croatia, purely because Boris Krcmar looks like a bouncer that got bored on shift and decided to start having a throw lol Unit of a man, he can play a bit as well.

Krcmar could play the main muscle of a Bond villain quite easily!  As you say he’s a very decent darts player.
