  1. 1. Second Striker, an FT concensus.

Vardy is doing a lot of work bless but getting isolated in the corners.Free kicks he is winning for fun but not seeing the ball in the box at all.

May have to consider a start without him -I know its weird.

Iheancho should be more than good enough for us given how decent he looked at Manchester City but he'll never work here if he doesn't play.

That said, I don't think he fits our system. We need to change it and move away from 442.

For me has to be Slim with Vardy but in a 3-4-1-2, with Mahrez in behind. Those three together up front would cause havoc and are three different types of players.

Serious question why does Vardy have to start? IMO he's one of the problems not of his own making mind, the opposition know what you get with him so maybe it's time to start someone else.

It's tough to decide really. Our forward and attacking options are very good, but it's the issue in midfield which is why they aren't benefiting. Okazaki, Iheanacho and Slimani are strong options as the second striker to Vardy. In 4-4-2, Okazaki provides that link from the midfield to attack, and when he doesn't play, we do struggle.

Has to be Shinji in a 4-4-2 because the formation leaves us hopelessly exposed.

Slimani in a 3-4-1-2.

This. You can't play Slimani or Nacho alongside Vardy in a 4-4-2.

Shinji doesn't play upfront with Vardy, simply put Vardy doesn't seem capable of playing WITH a striker, at least in this system, it has never worked, only time it did was with Ulloa in the 3412 system during the great escape
