Shinjeh. No hesitation.

Slimani has shown at times him and Vardy work well together and if we go 3-4-1-2 then I think that's the best formation for him as we'd have to wing backs crossing from their stronger foot multiple times a game and himnand Vardy seem to have an understanding on who drops deep and who takes up the running. Likewise Okazaki and Vardy know each other's game but I think Okazaki is always going to be inconsistent and it's time we looked at other options than 4-4-1-1/4-4-2.

They all have a case....

Iheanacho should definitely be given more game time to improve, he's a goalscorer so we need to get the best out of him.

Shinji we know what we're going to get but still doesn't score enough, look at the sitter he missed against Bournemouth

Slimani different option and did well last night but again, need to play to his strengths

I love Okazaki but every time I’ve seen Slimani this season he’s impressed me (the first half against Liverpool in the LC doesn’t count) and offers a bigger goal threat so I’ve gone for him.

Kelchi is 3rd choice by a distance at this point

Slimani in a 3-5-2/3-4-1-2

this! we look very good going forward when we are playing with wing backs and vardy with slimani up top. just like american football, in order to have a great running game you need a passing game, and vice versa. we won't be a 1 demantional team anymore, if you clog the midfield and set up deep to stop vardy, just cross it to slim.

only one problem, the chemistry isn't 100% there yet, sometimes vardy is staying in the box and that forces slim to drift out wide which effect the aerial threat, the sooner they find te right balance, they easier it is to win games

In a 4-4-2 it just has to be Okazaki.

In a 3-5-2 I'd still be tempted to play Okazaki but really they're all on the same level there.

I think people forget that Okazaki is our 2nd top scorer this season and he has a goal or assist every 80 odd minutes. Vardy has a goal or assist every 140 minutes and two were penalties.

Not to mention, a lot slate Shinji when he plays as he disappears in games and isn't clinical so after Iheanacho has one poor game, everyone wants Shinji again

there is an unwritten rule here, "the less you play, the better you become"

Probably Slimani. At least he’s a target for the punts up field and occasionally wins a knock down. Shinji creates a bit of chaos at times but he’s difficult to watch

Shinji clearly works best with Vardy in the current system, but the current system is arguably half the problem.

Whilst we have little to no central midfield it has to be Shinji as you could park a bus between Ndidi/King/Iborra and the front two.

People forget how often Okazaki go missing. That said, Okazaki works best in a 442 with Vardy but the 442 is half the problem and needs to be binned.

The problem with playing okazki is he never lasts 90 mins so youve used up 1 sub before the game starts. I know he didn't do a lot last night but I belive inechecho will come good. We would be in an even bigger mess if vardy got injured.

Exactly. Being forced to play Shinji just to fit a shitty system is one of the reasons why we went downwards.
