Steven Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 does anyone no when hes due to be back and does anyone rate him , can he play a part in the side? He will never play for City again.
Jimmy Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 the 1st question around the same time as weso (i think) the 2nd when he played his cameos last year he looked good, will provide compition both as a striker and a winger
Libertine Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 He will never play for City again. Exactly what I said when he asked me earlier.
Vo Rogue Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Quitting football and becoming a Physio.Has tons of practical experience.
Libertine Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 I'd like to see him played as a striker to be honest, I think he'd be decent. Better than on the wing anyway.
samlcfc1 Posted 12 October 2005 Author Posted 12 October 2005 the times ive seen him play he looked a decent player
Cobbo Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 i think he's crap. he's never fit anyway so it doesn't matter.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Sam lcfc could you donate to my Lee morris NHS fund and you'll be able to see the Ledgend sooner than Christmas, thing is he's not allowed to play until he's payed all his medical bills
cisono Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Quitting football and becoming a Physio.Has tons of practical experience. Hehe. On Monday he was out kicking the ball around with a physio (not other players).
King Kyle lcfc Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 At least he's kicking a ball he'll be gracing the walkers stadium again as soon as you know it. I fancy another cameo role vs Cardiff in the cup
cisono Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 At least he's kicking a ball he'll be gracing the walkers stadium again as soon as you know it. I fancy another cameo role vs Cardiff in the cup You mean before his next injury?
Scow Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 If he gets back to full fitness, then he could become a good squad player. However, after all those injuries incurred, I doubt he'd have the blistering pace from his earlier days. He seemed to rely a lot on his pace when he was at Sheffield United and Derby, so if he no longer has that quality, he'll struggle. Morris doesn't seem to have much in the way of skill and/or ability to beat players. Also, he's never been a prolific goalscorer or a convincing finisher to suggest he would be a decent striker in this division.
Guest Gist Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 I would like to see him play as its been a while
lush Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 I wonder why between the club and morris they havnt agreed to end his contract if hes no chance of playing?
Jimmy Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 well both parties obviously think he has, plus it would mean a lump some payment to him to end his contract now meaning that CL would have less to spend on new players
Louise Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 I wonder why between the club and morris they havnt agreed to end his contract if hes no chance of playing? As he's out through injury we'd have to pay him the full amount anyway, so I guess the club have just decided to keep him around on the offchance that he'll get fit.
The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 When he gets to within 2 weeks of his contract expiring, he'll retire. LCFC will then be reimbursed all the lost wages due to insurance. Till then, I expect he'll stay on the books if he thinks he has any chance of playing again.
lush Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 You`d think morris would say thanks lcfc for sticking by me, i`ll tear up my contract as a good will gesture? Or hes worth keeping? When was his last game?

Guest Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 It's alright, Adams'll be in for him in the January transfer window!
The People's Hero Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 Indeed... and anyone can pass an MA medical. Lee Morris has proved that before!
Ric Flair Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 Isn't Morris appearing in that tv programme LOST? Naah thought not.
Thracian Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 He will never play for City again. Do you have reasons for saying that or is it an educated guess?
Jimmy Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 Do you have reasons for saying that or is it an educated guess? It's probably the usual pessimistic clap trap most people on here come out with referring to the likes of Morris
