His team are now investigating the possibility of pressing charges against the man believed to living in France, according to the report.

It was either me, or @FIF

Being a star is everyone's dream, but it also has many disadvantages. Riyad Mahrez, the Algerian international, has undoubtedly verified it at his expense. Indeed, according to a source close to the player, the latter has been victim for several months now of an identity theft. A person posing as Riyadh, very close to the world of football, had taken for more than a year now with some famous journalists including, operating in major media. The purpose of this usurper is to make some profit and to have favors in exchange for certain information, false of course. How did he operate? It's simple, through the application WhatsApp (he had taken the care to put in profile photo of Riyadh with the Brazilian Ronaldo, ed), he exchanged with journalists practicing in France and asked them for certain privileges for so-called family members and friends who reside in Paris. For example, VIP stadium seats at the Parc des Princes or signed jerseys, etc. Obviously, against all that, the usurper in question gave some scoops about his future destination and other information about the national team of Algeria.
That explains all these rumors
Algerians have never understood why Riyad is often announced with insistence in big clubs but in the end, it remains always a player of Leicester City. Last week, information had sent him to Liverpool (when in reality the player does not interest the Reds at all), but we also remember that during the summer, and towards the end of the summer transfer window , some media (reputed to be credible) had assured that the player was at the Barcelona airport (note: he had been authorized by the FAF to leave the course of the EN) and was waiting for the signal from the leaders of Barça to sign his contract with the Catalan club. All this was wrong since the player, after leaving Algiers airport, went directly to Paris. All these rumors were launched by one person, the one who claims to be Riyadh.
The player's clan is considering filing a complaint
And during all this time, neither Riyadh nor his entourage had been aware of this case, which obviously affects the image of the player. Only after a journalist assured, via social networks, to have discussed directly with the player (about his imminent arrival in Liverpool), the former Le Havre decided to react. Alerted, Mahrez has strongly denied having discussed with any journalist lately. Very angry, he asked his entourage to shed light on this case and put the points on the i with the reporter in question. It was after a little investigation that the clan of the player saw the trickery. The usurper in question lives in France and uses a French number. He also had a pretty powerful network. He may even be in contact with other influential people. And in order to stop the actions of this person, the player's clan is seriously considering filing a complaint in the coming hours

such a shame they caught the culprit, enjoyed lumping on Riyad staying while it lasted
