The stats are a little misleading because they suggest it’s been a case of our opponents surviving an all out assault when it’s been more even.

At at the same time we haven’t been as bad as we make out to be during match threads.

the first half vs Swansea and the second half today were as much of an "all out assault" as I've probably ever seen on a football pitch. we could've scored 5 times in either half and nobody could've complained. but we didn't.

I haven’t found our recent football to be boring. Just regularly lacking quality.

Well, sorry, but it's been boring. There's no other way of saying it.

How many chances did we create?

Had loads of the ball, so the fact we created very little is even more telling.

We're boring and shit.

There was me thinking boringness is subjective.

Anything else you can correct me on? My favourite ice cream flavour? My favourite film? I’ve probably got those wrong too.

We're just really lacking a final ball. Everything seems to hit the first man or we get nowhere near it.

I don't know what to make of it. Vardy's role was to open paths to the other attacking players and it worked wonderfully until January.

Now we reverted to a hoof it to Vardy with very little success considering that he's completely isolated upfront and not the striker who will physically compete with big CBs.

Thats true. I guess it wasn’t like some of the old Barcelona games. There was one versus Celtic where they lost despite 91% (!) possession and 35 shots on goal!

I'd be curious as to how many of those shots etc were in the last 20/30 minutes of a game. We are clearly the 7th best team in the league but it's about time we showed it earlier and for longer.

It really does feel like we only go for it after the 60 minute mark. The legendary fast starts of the 15/16 season are a distant memory at the moment.

I think that's a good point. I have said a few times today that we were terrible but actually the performance wasn't terrible it was more the result was terrible after we drew at home to Swansea and stoke. Our performaces recently have been frustrating rather than terrible but the results have been terrible. You can deal with drawing at home to one poor team but to draw 3 home games in a row to poor teams is pretty poor.

Here's one stat for you:

In one game less in charge, Puel has managed 1 point less than Shakey in his spell in charge.

Now think on that.

Don’t recall us being 8th under Shakey.
