I would imagine both club are waiting to see what happens in the cup competitions.

if we are knocked out of the cup then expect us to try and delay until as late as possible in the hope that they won’t care as they can’t reach 4th. World Cup approaches so arsenal players not too interested in risking injury.

If I remember correctly, Spurs at home last season was meant to be around this time of year but they were in an FA cup quarter final and because of us still being in Europe it was moved to mid May. I have a feeling similar could happen to this one

Games are most likely to be rescheduled for April 17-18 or May 08-09. The league will know all the fixtures that need to rescheduled on Sunday night so hopefully they'll announce them next week. We'll most likely have to play both make up dates as we're supposed to play Southampton on FA cup semi-final weekend and that game will have to be postponed if we make it past Chelsea or they make it past Wigan.

Burnley have a similar situation - due to play Chelsea at home tomorrow but it will be rearranged for midweek. Everyone seems to be talking about Tuesday, April 17, or Wednesday, April 18.

Foxes hope to play a not-too-bothered Arsenal - we are hoping that Chelsea will be cut well adrift of the top four  when they come to Turf Moor. This looks likely with Liverpool currently a clear 4th.

I am more confident of beating Chelsea again than beating Leicester who we play on April 14.

If we don't get through Sunday and Southampton do, expect it to be played on that date we were due to play them.

Well no, cause Arsenal won't agree to playing two games that weekend.

If we get knocked out of the FA Cup on Sunday we will play Wednesday 18th April.

If we get through we will play Arsenal 8th/9th May week.

If either of Leicester or Southampton get through to the FA Cup semis, then the game between us will be 1st/2nd May or the week after (if we play Arsenal on the 18th April).

I totally forgot Arsenal would have a scheduled game that weekend ??‍♂️

Expect a few of the previously announced April TV games to get re-arranged now the champions league dates have been announced.

This game should be the same time as the re-arranged Arsenal away game was last year, the mid-April midweek when there's no champions league games. Likewise if the Soton home game on 21 April gets called off  for the FA Cup semis, it will be re-arranged for the same time the Spurs home game was played last season, mid-May midweek when the champions league semi finals are over.

There's very limited times these games can be played, as UEFA do not allow premier league games to be played at the same time as champions league games. All that needs to be decided is which games are on which days in those two aforementioned midweeks, for the purposes of Sky

Your optimism is fantastic

As far as I'm aware, the club are not obliged to issue a refund if a fixture is moved. However there have been cases in the past where they've made exceptions so keep an eye out I guess.

Either way, I don't think anything can happen until the rearranged date is set.

Not quite correct. There have been times when PL games were played on CL nights. Arsenal last season for example, played the same night as Atletico vs Real.
