So after winning his 3rd CL title and 9 trophies in 2.5 years Zinedane has decided that Real need a shakeup if they are to remain at the top. So he has resigned.

Good and honest move by him. Not sure where he'll go unless France crash and burn at the world cup and then he'll become the National team manager.

Pretty sure he'll end up back in Madrid in the future though.

This puts the movement of a few top managers/coaches into question - maybe Chelsea or even Arsenal until a new coach at RM is chosen. Pochettino is apparently the favourite even though he's just signed a new contract at Spurs. Would be great if he left and took a couple of their top players with him. Perhaps Mahrez will now hold out for a move to RM.

Thoughts?

Surprising innit? Out of the blue but you can see what Zindane's saying. Perhaps after some time away, he'll feel there are challenges out there for him... football or otherwise.

Pochettino would be a burk not to go (if offered and able to get out of his Spurs contract), it's a logical next step for a capable manager (as much as I'm not a fan of the miserable git!)

Poch to Real, Puel to Spurs, Zidane to Leicester, Riyad to stay.

You heard it here first.

No Nigel Pearson though.

Has Pearson ever headbutted someone in the chest on the pitch?

Not being facetious, genuinely asking because it's probably likely he has.

If he hasn’t, it’s on his ‘to do’ list.

He’s throttled someone on the sidelines and told a fan to FOAD so probably
